Tolomar Reez was a human male who was born on the planet Nar Kanji and joined the notorious Kanjiklub criminal gang. Around thirty years after the Battle of Endor, he was amongst a crew of Kanjiklub members who accompanied their leader Tasu Leech to reclaim a debt from the smuggler Han Solo. Reez and his comrades boarded Solo's Baleen-class heavy freighter above the planet Jakku shortly after the Guavian Death Gang, another criminal group to whom Solo owed money, had already boarded and confronted Solo in the freighter's airlock. Trapped between the two gangs, Solo promised he would pay back what he owed if he was given more time, but both Leech and Bala-Tik, frontman for the Guavians, had no more patience for Solo's lies. Reez and his comrades boarded Solo's Baleen-class heavy freighter above the planet Jakku shortly after the Guavian Death Gang, another criminal group to whom Solo owed money, had already boarded and confronted Solo in the freighter's airlock. Trapped between the two gangs, Solo promised he would pay back what he owed if he was given more time, but both Leech and Bala-Tik, frontman for the Guavians, had no more patience for Solo's lies. After Bala-Tik noticed the astromech droid BB-8 accompanying Solo, and pointed out that the First Order were looking for a similar droid, the Kanjklub began searching the ship, but were almost immediately interrupted by the release of three rathtars from the ship's hold. All present fled the carnivorous beasts including Reez who became separated from the rest of Kanjiklub in the maze of ship corridors. Turning a corner he ran straight into Solo, who punched him and flung him straight into the mouth of an approaching rathtar to be devoured.
