- The Sheriff is a character in the first Scary Movie. He is a sheriff investigating the murder of Drew Decker. The Sheriff is shown to not be very focused at his job as he tends to get off-subject at times.
- The Sheriff often gets drunk a lot and before he hangs, in the book he holds the contradictory belief that its okay for white woman to kiss a black man but a black man can't kiss a white woman. He is the one that ultimately made Katherine Barlow Kissin' Kate Barlow (Katherine Barlow). He died by Katherine Barlow by gunshot and she kissed him after, hence the nickname "Kissin' Kate Barlow". The Sheriff did not help Katherine when people were lighting the school on fire. In the film he is portrayed by Eric Peirpoint.

He then put Benson in jail along with Mordecai, Rigby and the test pilots (despite them being allowed to speed). He later arrested Pops for no apparent reason. He died when he pushed his car to the limit making the engine explode along with the car.
