| - Intermissions are a gameplay mechanic in the Luminous Arc series. Similiar to a dating-sim game, Intermissions allow you to raise someones affection for the main character and give you special scenes to watch when you do everything right. After the chain of intermissions for a character is finished, the player recieves a picture for an event which will appear in the gallery.

- Intermission is the seventh story in chapter 21 of Sluggy Freelance, The Hunt. Aylee is flying Bun-bun and Kiki over a skiing resort as she becomes hungry and they all fall. Bun-bun gets hurt and sick thanks to Kiki's "help." Bun-bun points out a nearby ski lodge, but only after some time do the two others think of going in. Their first attempt is thwarted by Kiki, and the second by a PETA member who returns Bun-bun into the cold. They do finally manage to sneak in, where Bun-bun recovers his strength and kills the PETA member who tries to get him back out, and Aylee finds enough food to turn into a dragon again and bring them all back home.
- It's basically what it sounds like it might be—the pre-recorded Intermission music to The Mole Show. It's actually pretty good, and it helps flesh out the Mole story. - Intermissions are mini-games featured in Mega Man X8. They are all completely optional, and serve mainly as a distraction to provide the player with a safe, risk free way of collecting large amounts of Metals to buy Chips from the Research and Development Lab.
