Tony invited Nathan and Lucas Scott over to his house to have dinner with him and his family. The Scott brothers see the man Dan could've been if his glory days had not left him bitter. Tony's father was a basketball player himself who eventually quit to raise Tony with his mother. He struggled with two jobs but refocused his passion for basketball towards providing a loving home for Tony, his mother and his siblings.
