  • The BioComp, or Bio-Computer, was an advanced Confederate dna-based computer system, that made calculations much faster than normal circuit-based computers, giving an edge in combat. The bio-computer was also capable of calculating hyperjump points and destinations much faster than a normal navicomputer. This technology was gained through trading with the New Firrerre Republic, and was being installed on most space vessels from 17 ABY. It was fiercely protected, and crews would rather destroy the bio-comp than allow the technology to fall into enemy hands. All BioComp systems were also protected to avoid tampering; any unauthorized access resulted in self-destruction.
