In 1985, instead of Gorbachev, a longer-living Yuri Andropov takes over as the Soviet Union leader. Three years later, a war erupts between the USSR and the USA, engulfing the planet in a nuclear war. America barely survives, and is soon taken over by a dictatorship led by General William Westmoreland, a hero of the Vietnam Campaign in World War III. Westmoreland's government falls once he dies in 2005, and rebellions erupt all across America. The struggle continues into the present day.
