The 21st Mechanized Infantry Group was an armored unit in the Grand Army of the Republic and later the Imperial Army. Fighting in the Clone Wars, they were one of the most decorated units, and worked with the 88th Mechanized Infantry Group. During the Clone Wars, they used AT-TEs, AT-RTs, and various repulsorlift tanks. Serving the Galactic Empire, the 21st was given AT-ATs and AT-STs, though was most famous for it's signature TIE Crawlers. It served the Imperial Remnant after the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader.
