She was built at Nenawirth Yards in Kasputin Yar, but was promptly offered to the Krittish to augment the few heavy warships in Krittain's fleet and be crewed by the overabundance of applicants that Krittain was experiencing. The ship is crewed primarily by Krittish personnel and is maintained by Krittish resources. In its first year, it was deployed to the Krittish section of Union space, patrolling up and down the Perlemian Trade Route. As resources were built up in the Caspian Navy, and due to Lirithose's performance record, the cruiser was re-assigned to the Yarie section. Lirithose is most well known for her service in the safeguarding of Yariz, since it is a heavily trafficked region and often comes in contention with rogue outfits and overbearing principalities such as the Hutts and the Tion Hegemony. At one point, a routine interdiction of a smuggling freighter turned into a hellacious duel with a Hutt star cruiser. The picket had made contact with the freighter a short hyperjump away, and had requested the heavy cruiser to travel to its location to give support. The freighter itself had called in assistance, and when Lirithose dropped out of hyperspace, it was staring down the Hutt cruiser Voligure. Belligerence was on the mind of the Hutt ship's captain, and a running, two-hour battle ensued, with Lirithose emerging victorious. CMKS Lirithose is named for a planet in the Krittain star system.
