(Listen (help·info): /hanjaŋː/) Hanyang, known formally as the Special City of Hanyang (Han: 징시노File:Uppitchtone.png한File:Uppitchtone.png양File:Longvowel.png, tr. Jingshi no Hányáang) is the capital and largest city of the Great Han Empire. With the areas adjacent to it, it forms the heart of the Greater Hanyang urban area and the Lusong plain, the latter of which is home to over a half of the country's total population and is responsible for two-thirds of the country's economic output. A direct result of Hani's economic miracle, it has has emerged as a leading global city and regional hub. Hanyang has been consistently ranked highly in standards of living, quality of life, and is among the most liveable cities within the region.

With the areas adjacent to it, it forms the heart of the Greater Hanyang urban area and the Lusong plain, the latter of which is home to over a half of the country's total population and is responsible for two-thirds of the country's economic output. A direct result of Hani's economic miracle, it has has emerged as a leading global city and regional hub. Hanyang has been consistently ranked highly in standards of living, quality of life, and is among the most liveable cities within the region. Being the capital, all three branches of the Han federal government are based in the Imperial district, which was where the city was originally established in and where the Han imperial residence has been built. Hanyang is also home to over a hundred foreign embassies and consulates. The federal government also functions as the regional government of the Greater Hanyang governorate, which Hanyang is part of.
