NP, standing for Negative Points, is a stat in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord. These measure the number of monsters (their level) and floors that can be summoned at any given time. NP is restored to its maximum before every battle, and regenerate each time an adventurer is defeated. Various items can increase the maximum of NP.

- Negative Points were plotted locations in 20th century Tokyo that contained small amounts of negative energy that could manifest a rather large amount of Dark Power if wedges, such as the Dark Henge, were driven to them. Wedges would absorb Dark Power from the 30th century and the amount of Dark Power absorbed would accumulate and make the wedge grow until it reached its peak. If a full set of wedges were driven into several Negative Points, a Dark Gate would open.

To the naked eye, Negative Points were invisible, but a member of the Black Moon Clan would be able to locate one using their earrings. In addition, Negative Points were the alternative to using Crystal Points as part of the Black Moon Clan's plan to destroy Crystal Tokyo.
