The youngest of six children, Siddiqui moved with his family to the United States at a young age and grew up in New York City and Baltimore. He studied acting in high school and later at the University of Toronto. In addition, he became a champion martial artist, holding a fourth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and competing in the Junior Olympics and the Maryland State Championships.
