| - During the war, Ussej was one of the players in a major trinity of the three most unlikely individuals. Falling in love with Isabella Dashin and eventually allying himself Kalel Kitsune, Isabella’s eventual lover and father of her daughter, he was able to use the trinity to rectify his mistakes, thereby becoming a Prophet of the Whills as stated in the Prophecy of the Nine Prophets. His spirit was carried to Ashlan Four after he sacrificed himself to save Kalel and kill Carden Mannux in the Temple of the Ancients on Lehon. After visiting his home one last time in the form of a spirit, he made his way into the Kingdom of Heaven. Ussej’s mistakes during the war brought about an age of awakening for the Bendu Order. After Ussej’s death, his greatest friend and successor as High Priest, Josiah Rendar, helped the order rebuild itself from the ground up. Josiah always remained cognizant of his friend’s life story to ensure that what happened during his time would not happen again. During the age of awakening, there were not only changes in appearances but a change in the way that the order viewed itself in comparison to the rest of the universe. Ussej, along with his father and grandfather, was able to help the order realize what would happen to someone if they allowed pride get the better of them. For that, Ussej was never forgotten. Visor (Electrosignetic Caphsronis Hectron Obenexer), was a high-tech signal visor created by a precise and complex three-fold combination of black market, stolen imperial and rebellion technology. It utilized the absolute peak of technology during its time, which also accounted for its rarity, complicated features, and especially its infamous expense. To ensure that it would never burn out or decrease in effectiveness, the E.C.H.O. visor was energized by two small Artusian crystals located near the visor's left and right temples. The maintenance of the visor was almost non-existent. The only regular maintenance required was that the two Artusian crystals in the visor’s temples needed semi-regular activation, in order to keep the crystals active and functioning. If the crystals are not powered up at least once every 40 days, the crystals would steadily deteriorate. Contrary to what most in the Rebellion believed, the Rebel Alliance splinter faction called RAIF (Rebel Alliance Intelligence Faction) was, in fact, behind the visor’s creation. The technology was acquired almost completely by theft, or assassinations, and even hired some foreign scientist of another manufacturer. Due the organization's secrecy, the "publicly accepted" way the Rebel Alliance received the technologies was by using a sort infiltrator droids to simply copy the schematics from the Galactic Empire, and an unknown criminal entity. His ancestor, Jonathan Bac, was the first Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic. His grandfather and great-grandfather were both Senators of Alderaan. His parents were Laili Jeyna Rendar, the sister of his uncle Kit Corwin Rendar, and Saint Ussej Padric Bac who went on to become the Shaman of the Whills. His mother and uncle originated from Corellia. His wife, Bara ErMez, would eventually give birth to a son named Ussej Padric Bac III, a legendary Bendu High Priest that brought about the Holy War during the Great Sovereign Crusades. The second Bac to bear the name “Ussej Padric”, he fought in the final battle of the Great Rim Lines War on Dxun where he met a young Republic Colonel named Cos Jonathan Dashin who would later go on to be one of the most instrumental Supreme Chancellor’s in galactic history. After he died on Dxun, the newly elected High Priest Neil Rendar analyzed the Prophecies of The Skywalker and realized that Ussej was one of the Prophets of the Whills spoken of in the Prophecy of The Nine Prophets. His mistakes during his life helped to bring about an age of awakening for the Bendu Order. During this time, not only were there changes in appearance to a more formal and monk-like style, but also a change in the way that the Order viewed itself. The three men of the Bac Family helped them to realize what happens when pride gets the best of people, including those held in such high regard. This historical documentation, along with the foundation of the Order, was seen in the visions of a holy man, who transcribed his findings in the Prophecy of the Whills. The holy man’s prophecy was proven true when, as he foresaw, the Order of the Jedi Bendu, led by Matthew of Skywalker, brought the Whill species from their homeworld of Brodo Asogi to Ashlan Four and founded the Order of the Whills. After the Order’s formation, the Whills began to view the history of the galaxy using the time stream, a body of water that contained moving images of the universe’s history. The Whills were unable to use this to its fullest extent, however, until the arrival of their shaman, Ussej Padric Bac. This was because the shaman was the only being capable of taking part in the historical events. The Whills and the shaman continued to record the history of the galaxy at least until the formation of the New Republic, the galactic government that came to power after the fall of the Galactic Empire. The use of Shikkri is primarily restricted to Shapeshifters because of the race's isolationist nature, though it became more widespread when the Pureblood Shapeshifters unintentionally moved into the Outer Rim planet of Kowak V. Its use in the known part of the galaxy mostly died out with the eradication of nearly all of the Pureblood Shapeshifters in 3953 BBY. Because this incident drew the Lorsanan Shapeshifters away from the galaxy as a whole for fear the same would happen to them, only a few remaining Purebloods are known to use this language, and then only with each other. Shikkri is typically very flowing and easy to say quickly, with very few 'harsh' sounds. This is a kind of anomaly, considering a Shapeshifter's vocal cords and general oral and jaw construction, but it is likely that they borrowed vocal cords and skull structures from other creatures of their planet. From evidence in the language construction and phonetics, it is likely that they copied a kind of songbird's vocal capabilities. Shikkri is a phonetic language, and is fairly wide in the amount of races who can accurately pronounce it, though this was probably unintentional. Written Shikkri was at first composed of hard, straight lines due to their limitations because of their claws, but this changed when they discovered opposable thumbs. Their appreciation for aesthetic beauty led them to greatly stylize Shikkri into the curving, flowing letters it is written in modern Shikkri. This also continued the trend in making their language sound musical, and easy to incorporate into music. These near-Humans lived on the remote, uncharted world of Adonai, and had a long, mysterious past. There were many of this race, a good fraction living in and around Adonai, and the rest so far-flung and scattered that they seemed nearly extinct to the galaxy as a whole. Though talented at warcraft and were all talented fighters, especially with their innate Force-sensitivity, their wars were few and far between, and their participation in other's wars was rare due to their infrequency outside their own hidden realm. The Rohi were a quiet, peaceful, nature-loving race governed by a theocracy whose ruler was the Force, which they called the Jiréh. They were also very determined, and were readily willing to eradicate evil when given the chance. However, because of the power given them, when a Rohi did turn to the dark, the results were usually catastrophic and often spanned the universe in its impact. One of the more devastating Rohi to the Known Galaxy was The Prophet of Shatan, who made use of a pivotal time in galactic history to gain power over most races. However, to counter these dark rulers, there were also extremely powerful Rohi dedicated to the light. The most well-known of these warriors for the light was a Rohi named Michael, who later became the Watchman of the Known Galaxy to help it and protect it from the dark when he could. In order to chronicle historical events, the Whills used the time stream, allowing selectively trained individuals to view the historical timeline of the galaxy. Ussej Padric Bac, the Shaman of the Whills, was able to use the time stream to interact in historical events, such as the Invasion of Utapau, which he would then relay detailed information about to the Whill historians. Some of these historians would go on to write individual manuscripts about specific topics that would be entered into the journal. With this power, the user could create a nearly impenetrable semitransparent sphere around their body that could deflect or absorb attacks via blasters or lightsabers, and could block physical blows. In most cases, it could also prevent harmful Force powers from reaching its user. In most cases, its use was regulated to only the above action, but those skilled in its use or those whose ability in the Force was regulated mostly to it used the bubble of protection for a wide range of activities due to its versatility. Shields were fairly easy to use and usually did not require much concentration. Their size ranged anywhere from infinitesimal to to gargantuan, though the latter took much more concentration. Shields could be moved, fluctuated, or even regulated to let only certain things in and other things out. Despite this, the Force shield was not commonly used among the Jedi, as it was nearly replaced with the form-fitting Force Protection in most circles, and all other uses for it could be done with other Force powers. Those proficient in creating shields or limited to it were known as shieldmakers. Two known users are Cin Drallig and Zenethir Rodiron. It was the counter to the passive nature of the Baran Do, in that should a conflict not be avoided, there would be a force there able to stop it. The Vaskar had a fair number of well known people in it's ranks over the years of it's existence including Skyu Lon as the head of the Vaskar, Err Lupe and Dorn Atun. Over the years, some non-Kel'Dor joined the force in hopes of keeping the planet's infrastructure intact and keep the Baran Do respected. These people included Filose Naj, Dak Grenlar and Aras Doplin. During the early stages of the Vaskar, the organization was located in the Baran Do Tower, along with the Sage Council. This changed as more members started coming in and a need for a real head quarters arose. The Vaskar HQ, a large building just north of the Baran Do Tower was created to house the Vaskar and also substituting as a prison. Eventually, bases were constructed across the galaxy on Coruscant, Kashyyyk, Nar Shaddaa and Manaan as examples. The group would exist prominently before being disbanded during Lassavouu's leadership, then picked up again by the Wookiee Grrwooken. With strong leadership once again, the group would last for almost four more centuries before the last remnants were destroyed by the Sith on Yavin IV. The leader at that time, Filose Naj III, was killed aboard the Death Star fighting Lord Vader, giving the Rebels the time to escape. The organization derives its name from the birth name of The Skywalker, which was “Jedi Bendu”, and the Ophuchi, the people he led in the exodus from Had Abaddon to Kal'Shabbol. Before it’s decline, the order was unified through its belief in Yahweh, the God of the Universe, and his omnipotent presence that The Skywalker referred to as the Force of Others. Wielders of the mystic energy and signature long swords, the Jedi Bendu were revered as guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy. A very religious people, the Jedi Bendu had an ancient set of prophecies that had been written by The Skywalker in the years leading up to his death. The descendants of Jonathan Bac, the first Supreme Chancellor of the Old Republic and the man responsible for the ultimate cooperation between the Republic and the Jedi Bendu and, later, the Jedi, went on to fulfill many of the prophecies, most notably the Prophecy of the Voyager and the Prophecy of the Last Son. After the creation of the new Jedi Bendu Order, some of its members went on to fulfill whole prophecies and parts of others. Solving major crisis’ such as the Kal'Shabbol Civil War and the conflict with the Legions of Lettow, otherwise known as the minions of Xendor Taral, the Jedi Bendu had come to be trusted above all else by the citizens of the Republic. In the final years of their rule, they challenged the legality of many programs set up by Supreme Chancellor Contispex. In order to end what he perceived to be a threat to his rule, Contispex manipulated many on the Jedi Bendu Council of Masters into drafting a code and reforming their order into a more loyal system. However, two council members, Zios Malachor and Adena Qel-Droma, refused to do so and spoke out against the Supreme Chancellor. Qel-Droma eventually gave in to the new reforms that gave birth to the Jedi Order, but she was locked away in carbon freeze and became lost in space for what the Supreme Chancellor labeled as her “crimes”. Malachor and his followers fled to the Ashlan Expanse and formed the Bendu Order on Kal’Shabbol. The two orders would not be reunified into a new Jedi Bendu Order until the death of Emperor Palpatine and the fall of his Galactic Empire on Coruscant. In the role of Admiral of the Alderaanian fleet, he was responsible for the decisive final campaign against the Anarchic Brotherhood of Planets that brought the Unification War to a close. As the Ambassador to the Coalition of Planets, he worked closely with the Jedi Bendu of the Ophuchi to ensure a smooth transition between numerous regional governments and one galactic democracy. In his role as ambassador, he also drafted the Galactic Charter and was the first to sign it at the ceremony that witnessed the founding of the Galactic Republic. One of the most important politicians in the early history of the Galactic Republic, Jonathan was credited with saving the House of Organa and the Corellian Empire from destruction and for paving the way to the founding of the Galactic Republic. He was also responsible for allowing the Jedi Bendu, and later the Jedi, to become a major presence in the day-to-day affairs of the Galactic Republic. It was also foretold that his descendants were those spoken of in the Prophecies of The Skywalker. During the Ashlan Civil War, the Great Sovereign Crusades and the Galactic Civil War, that foretelling was proved correct when Ussej Padric Bac, Ussej Padric Bac II, Ussej Padric Bac III and Ussej Padric Bac LXIV fulfilled passages within the prophecies. Jonathan was also well-remembered and revered for literally setting up the brilliant democratic system that lasted for twenty-five thousand years after the beginning of his term in office. The Jedi High Council was given what they believed to be reliable information by Jedi Master Kit Corwin Rendar stating that Sith forces had infiltrated the major technological and manufacturing centers on Pho Ph'eah and that they were attempting to build up a far more massive army than they already had. With the approval of the Galactic Senate, the Jedi Order and the Republic military launched an orbital bombardment of the planet in an effort to take out the Sith forces on the surface. Days later, after Ravinos had led the Republic forces to the planet, he ordered the bombing to commence. Warships in orbit performed orbital bombardments of technological centers across the surface, while the naval Gold Squadron carried out surgical strikes against the main city. During the bombing of the city, the government complex was destroyed, killing the Republic-appointed planetary leader Char'on G'rean in the process. Both sides lost forces, though the casualties on Pho Ph’eah were recorded as heavy. Estimates put the casualties on Pho Ph’eah at over two hundred government officials, fifty-seven contractors and nearly eight thousand civilian factory workers. Following the conclusion of the bombing, Republic scouts made their way to the surface and concluded that there was no trace of any Sith forces either before or during the battle. When Fleet Captain La'El Montrose confronted Rendar about the faulty intelligence, the Jedi Master revealed that there was, in fact, one Sith Lord on the surface. Rendar revealed himself to be Darth Ravinos, the apprentice of the Dark Lady Viea, and that he had planned the attack with intelligence he had fabricated to tarnish the image of the Jedi and the Republic across the galaxy. After skinning Montrose and launching his skinless remains out an airlock, Ravinos stole the Republic flagship Equinox and was not heard from again for some time. Ravinos was successful in tarnishing the image of both the Republic and the Jedi, though mostly the Jedi. The public had known that the Dark Lordess was once a Jedi Master, though the fact that another Jedi Master turned to the Dark Side and became her apprentice was more troubling for them. The Jedi saw their public approval ratings sink and watched as fewer worlds called out for their help in various matters. It was one of two great orders, the other being the Jedi Order, that emerged during a schism within the Order of the Jedi Bendu of the Ophuchi fifteen thousand years before the Galactic Civil War. The Bendu Order was unified through its belief in Yahweh, the God of the universe, and his omnipotent presence known as the Force of Others. The wielders of that mystic energy and signature long swords made out of elements similar to cortosis, the Bendu Knights were revered as the guardians of an everlasting peace in the worlds of the Ashlan Expanse, particularly Had Abaddon, Ondus and Aquilae. The Bendu Order rarely left their home planet of Kal'Shabbol to fight in conflicts that did not directly pertain to them, though there were three major instances when they did. Under the leadership of Ussej Padric Bac and Ussej Padric Bac II, and with help from Damien Nightblade of the Shadourian Order, the order successfully eliminated the dictatorship of Husen Al-Dubrir of Had Abaddon and Adena Qel-Droma during the Ashlan Civil War. Nearly fifty years later, Ussej Padric Bac III led a holy war with Shadourian Master Ein Nightblade against the Jedi Order, though when it indirectly led to the rise of the Third Sith Empire the Bendu returned to Kal’Shabbol and Ussej Padric Bac III sacrificed his life to destroy Emperor Invidius. Nearly four thousand years later, under the leadership of Ussej Padric Bac LXIV, the Bendu Order helped the Alliance to Restore the Republic destroy the Galactic Empire and the Order of Sith Lords. With the galaxy liberated, Ussej Padric Bac LXIV and Luke Skywalker forged an unprecedented alliance and formed the Second Jedi Bendu Order. An order of highly religious people, the Bendu had an ancient set of prophecies that had been passed down from the time of The Skywalker, the founder of the Order of the Jedi Bendu of the Ophuchi. Many of their own people, such as members of the Bac family, fulfilled many of the prophecies, while many others were fulfilled by Jedi Knights and Jedi Bendu Knights after the reunification of the Jedi Order and the Bendu Order. Because of the prophecies, as well as what the Bendu had done, the legacy of the Bendu Order lasted long after it had merged with the Jedi Order, even during the crisis with the Prophets of Lettow. Before his life as a Dark Jedi, Jaden was trained in the ways of the Jedi at the academy on Yavin 4. He was trained alongside fellow apprentice Rosh Penin under Kyle Katarn, participating in various missions for the New Jedi Order against the Disciples of Ragnos with great success, until he left the Jedi Order and took control of the Sith Cult. As the leader of the Dark Order of Korr, Jaden led Imperial attacks on New Republic worlds and gained control of various industrial centers as well as numerous other strategic locations. However, Jaden's military achievements were eventually eclipsed by his underlings. Two Sith Lords, Darth Persia and his apprentice, Darth Imperious, had joined Jaden's organization under the guise of being a Dark Jedi. Darth Persia gained much favor over the other military generals in the Dark Order through various outstanding victories, and eventually decided that Jaden had outlived his usefulness. While commanding a fleet above the Imperial planet Bakura, where Jaden was located at the time, Persia ordered the surface of the planet to be destroyed to ensure that Jaden would not escape the planet alive. Korr's death allowed the Sith to take control of his forces, which were used to forge the Greater Sith Empire. After the war, he and his master, Brarh Kefle, lived on Corellia in hiding from the Sith, but they eventually rejoined the Jedi Order and Bac became a Jedi Knight. Along with fellow Jedi Damien Nightblade, Bac was present during the Uvena Conflict that formally launched the Great Territorial War, which he fought through the duration of. At the beginning of the war, Bac was said to have been an optimistic Jedi Knight, one who was hardened by the conflict. These events also nearly turned him to the dark side of the Force, but he never officially turned and was able to find what was regarded as a state of compassion and leadership. During the war, Bac fell in love with Laili Jeyna Rendar, and the two had a stressful relationship. Years later, Bac fulfilled his destiny and became the Shaman of the Whills, becoming the keeper of the Journal of the Whills that documented the history of the galaxy. After doing so and facing off his darker temptations, Yahweh, the God of the Universe, spoke to him at the peak of Mount Sky and dubbed him The Skywalker. Yahweh revealed to him that the Force of Others was his own omnipotent presence and that he had allowed it to be sensed by mortals to help in the salvation of the galaxy. Yahweh tasked The Skywalker with freeing his chosen people, the Ophuchi, from King Achab Tahrea of Had Abaddon, The Skywalker’s step-brother. During the battle for paradise, The Skywalker was given the unfortunate task of being the first man to kill in the name of the Force of Others, taking the life of his step-brother. As the battle raged on, however, The Skywalker and the Ophuchi prevailed and found themselves in the midst of a mass exodus from Had Abaddon. They boarded many small starships and fled to the Promised Land, the neighboring world called Kal'Shabbol. There, they officially created their order and set up the first Jedi Bendu Enclave. Before his death, The Skywalker spoke of and recorded many important prophecies that would later echo throughout the ages in the actions of many notable individuals. These writings later became known as the Prophecies of The Skywalker. His contributions to the very early formation of the Galactic Republic, the Jedi Order, the Bendu Order, the numerous Sith Empires and the Order of the Whills were remembered for thousands of years throughout the universe, even on the most primitive of worlds in galaxies far, far away from his own. His most notable ancestors included Jonathan Bac, Ussej Padric Bac, Laili Jeyna Rendar, Kit Corwin Rendar, Ussej Padric Bac II and Ussej Padric Bac III as they had each influenced galactic events for thousands of years after their deaths. He was known to have looked up to them all with high regard, specifically Ussej Padric Bac III due to his conservative viewpoints towards the Jedi Order. Ussej served as the High Priest of the Bendu Order during the Galactic Civil War. He was reluctant at first to help Mon Mothma after she requested the assistance of the Bendu, but after speaking with the Shaman of the Whills he changed his mind and led the order into the galaxy quickly enough to fight in the first major engagement of the war on the small moon of Endor. There, he first encountered Kane Starkiller. After the battle, he decided to head back to Kal’Shabbol but soon changed his mind and agreed to keep the order in imperial space to help the Alliance. He was instrumental in the major engagements to follow, particularly the Second Battle of Alderaan, the First Battle of Coruscant, the Battle of Bespin and the Battle of Korriban. He had grown to be an informal mentor to Luke Skywalker after Obi-Wan Kenobi was killed and spoke the prophetic words of the Archangel Ranka Darkbroode to Luke before the redemption of Anakin Skywalker. After the war ended, he and Luke co-founded the Second Jedi Bendu Order, stationed off of Coruscant and Kal’Shabbol. He was instrumental in the successes of the Reunification War, but was unable to prevent the Jedi Bendu from splitting in two. He and Luke knew that the Rizen Order stood a great chance in winning the war, so in order to preserve their order they decided that Ussej would travel as far away from the capital as they could and Luke would stay behind. In the end, Luke was able to lead the Jedi Bendu into a victorious final campaign against the Rizen Order, though he was unable to contact Ussej after the victory. Ussej and his fellow Jedi Bendu travelers found their way into an intergalactic wormhole and were thrust thousands of light years to Earth where Ussej remained until his death. The Lettow practiced the dark side of the Force, and was created based upon the teachings, writings and philosophies of more-well-known dark side users such as Xendor Taral and Marka Ragnos. The creation of the Lettow was also a culmination of failed experiments such as the Sith Battle Lords Project. Said to have been fiercely devoted to their causes, the Lettow worshiped the dark side and, in time, their main goal was to aid the Order of the Sith Lords and the Galactic Empire in destroying the Jedi Order, as well as the Bendu Order during the Galactic Civil War. After the first leaders Damien Starkiller and Darius passed away, the Lettow spent centuries worshiping the dark side in the hopes of gaining power to dominate the Force. However, when they were rediscovered during the Millennium of Hiding by the Sith Lord Darth Vectivus, the Lettow became foot soldiers for the Order of the Sith Lords when Vectivus took on Deak Starkiller, later Darth Ujur, as his apprentice. This relationship remained in place for nearly five hundred years until the death of Darth Plagueis, as the knowledge of their location was lost when Plagueis was killed by his apprentice Darth Sidious. After having been located and integrated into the Order of the Sith Lords and the Galactic Empire by Sidious and his apprentice Darth Vader, the Lettow were the main Imperial force behind many battles, such as the two Battles on Alderaan, the Sieges of Naboo and the Battle of Coruscant’s Moon. However, during the battle on the moon of Coruscant, where the main Lettow headquarters was located, the Lettow were destroyed during a Bendu raid, leaving only Kane Starkiller, Mara Jade and a handful of others alive, though the majority of the survivors were eventually killed during the final battles of the war. The destruction of the Dark Guardians of Lettow thereby destroyed thousands of years of work by numerous dark side users. However, the philosophies and practices that they utilized were later used by the Prophets of Lettow, a so-called fanatical group that attempted to bring about the resurrection of Carden Mannux. During this time and for some time after, the Dark Guardians of Lettow were remembered for what historians noted as their brutal discipline and lust for power in the upper ranks, along with the supposedly unholy methods individuals sometimes used to advance in rank. According to scientific estimates, the world was the first in the galaxy to bear life, which was why Yahweh referred to it as the Promised Land and why the The Skywalker and the Jedi Bendu chose to reside there following the exodus from Had Abaddon, Kal’Shabbol’s twin world. Because it was the first planet to bear life, the Force of Others was stronger there than on most other worlds, though it was not the strongest source of the Force of Others that was known of. Upon the arrival of the Jedi Bendu, conclaves were set up in the most habitable regions of the Ashlan Mountains for prayers and meetings of the most powerful Jedi Bendu. Deep within the mountains, they buried their scriptures so that only they would know where to find them, which was what led to the Kal’Shabbol Civil War between the Jedi Bendu and the colonists in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. The Jedi Bendu later began to watch over the inhabitants of the world that immigrated from other planets in the Ashlan Expanse. Once the Jedi Bendu split into two orders on Coruscant, a group loyal to the old ways settled in the capital city Ashla Prime and formed the Bendu Order. During the thousands of years that the Bendu watched over the world, a peaceful utopia had been formed. However, with the arrival of Ussej Padric Bac and his family after the Great Territorial War between the Galactic Republic and the Third Sith Empire, the Ashlan Civil War broke out. At the end, Ussej pulled the mythical Sword of The Skywalker from its resting place in a hidden temple on the highest ridge of the Ashlan Mountains and ended the war, ending his life in the process. The site became one of reverence, being known as the Holy Ridge of the Shaman. After the reunification of the Bendu Order and the Jedi Order at the end of the Galactic Civil War, the Second Jedi Bendu Order used the planet for meditation and prayer. Because they were busy with galactic affairs, the order ended their government on the planet and the common people became the leaders of the world. Though they were happy to have a true democracy to elect world leaders, they greatly appreciated everything that Jedi Bendu and the Bendu had done for them. At that time, the Kingdom of the Ashla was set up between Kal'Shabbol and the other Ashlan worlds, but thirty years later Kal'Shabbol and the rest of the kingdom became members of the New Republic. The legacy of the world and the people of the world reached as far as Earth during the crisis between the third Jedi Bendu Order and the Prophets of Lettow. Many years after the crisis, it became the first inhabited extra-galactic world that the people of Earth learned about, though the governments of Earth suppressed the knowledge of its existence. The first notable member of the Bac family, he held the rank of General and Army Chief of Staff in the Organian Army decades before the Unification War and encouraged his son to pursue a career in the military. Before he had a chance to see his son join the military, he was assassinated by a then-unknown assailant. For decades, it was believed that the assailant was a covert agent from the Corellian Empire, which was the reasoning behind the launch of the Unification War. At the end of the war it was revealed that he had been assassinated by a member of the Anarchic Brotherhood of Planets, a lose alliance of worlds determined to stop the unification of governments and the creation of one galactic federal government. Conrad was known throughout the Organian Empire as one of three men to serve longer than any other citizen as a prisoner of war behind Corellian lines. He was captured during the Battle of Alderaan after tensions rose between the two governments and was held with two of his men for one and a half years. During that time, has subjected to immense physical and psychological torture, and he refused to be released unless his men were released with him. He and his men were not released until months later after his father Dylan Bac had joined the Organian Legislature and negotiated for their release. Although Conrad was not well known outside of Alderaan during the time that he lived in, he was remembered by his family as a brave soldier, an effective commander, a caring father and one of the men responsible for the course that his family took in the thousands of years following his untimely death. Jonathan Bac also said during his term as Supreme Chancellor that many of his military tactics and political ideas were influenced by the journals and logs of his father, meaning that Conrad had an influence on the outcome of the Unification War and the formation of the Galactic Republic. The war saw the forces of the Third Sith Empire, which had previously been defeated in the Great Territorial War, and the Mandalorian Clans on the offensive against the forces of the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic. The conflict was fought primarily to acquire trade routes and supplies for the dwindling Sith and Mandalorian militaries. The conflict traced its origins back to the aftermath of the Great Territorial War when the Third Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic were in shambles. The Republic’s infrastructure had been significantly weakened which called for the beginning of a lengthy reconstruction process. The Sith’s numbers continued to fall due to in-fighting and the Mandalorians, lacking strong allies, also felt the effects of a lack of supplies to continue funding their military. Much like they had during the early stages of the Mandalorian Wars, the Republic initially paid the Outer Rim sieges no mind, but eventually they were forced to enter into the conflict. The Republic lost every major engagement until the end of the war. The decisive confrontation came when Cos Jonathan Dashin, a young Republic Colonel, was placed in command of the Republic fleet. He formulated a plan that would lure the entire Sith and Mandalorian army into a massive trap where they eventually ended up being destroyed on Dxun. As the Mandalorians barely limped away from the war, the Sith saw their numbers fall into the range of a few dozen, leaving open a wound that would allow for the outbreak of the United Pirate Crusades and the Great Sovereign Crusades. There were 30 episodes in the first season that developed the characters of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala. Throughout the first season, the hidden plans of the two masterminds were beginning to be seen. Padmé rose to power and influence, Anakin became a Jedi Master and was twisted by the dark side, and Obi-Wan Kenobi found his place as the old hermit in the desert. On the lonely planet of Tatooine, Anakin Skywalker was found and taken in by Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master. Qui-Gon passed Anakin on to his apprentice who taught Anakin the skills to fight the Sith. Anakin traveled throughout the galaxy with Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon's Padawan until they discovered a plot to kill Padmé. From there, the two Jedi split up, one protected Padmé and the other searched for the killer. When they found out who was behind the plot, it broke out into war, scarring the galaxy. This paved the way for Anakin to rise to Master and became both Jedi and father. With Padmé pregnant, more responsibility fell on Anakin as the need to keep her alive arose. With this, the mastermind played with Anakin, until he fell into a trap and turned to the dark side of the Force, leaving the galaxy in darkness. Season 1 managed to gross close to 8,000 total views during its air on YouTube. That number continued to climb, however, as time went on. "Episode 1: Droid Control Ship - Naboo" remained at the top of the list of most viewed for half of the season’s airing time, until "Episode 10: Jango Fett" beat the record, gaining over 2,000 views. Episode 10 remained the number one most viewed episode to the end of the season. However, towards the end of the first season, views began to dwindle, and the show’s popularity faded. The creators of The Fanon Menace also decided to release a mini-series in between Season 1 and Season 2 called The Fanon Menace: A Day in the Life of a Stormtrooper. This mini-series revived the show’s status and prepared viewers for Season 2. Before embracing the Bogan, he was a Jedi Bendu Knight from Kashi, but he was expelled from the Order of the Jedi Bendu of the Ophuchi due to his unorthodox methods, his intent to study and practice the arts of the Bogan and the murder of Jiaasjen, the woman who trained him as a Jedi Bendu. After his exile, he made his way into the Unknown Regions and located the lost world of Had Abaddon where he acquired an artifact known as the Kaiburr Crystal. After securing the relic, he gathered dozens of the planet’s inhabitants and made his way back into the known galaxy where he and his followers settled on Dathomir. On Dathomir, Xendor brought his minions together and founded an order of Dark Jedi Bendu and dark warriors that he called the Legions of Lettow, the term “Lettow” referring to the name of the ancient Ophuchi God of the underworld. His disciples also referred to themselves as the “Minions of Xendor”. During the decades when he did nothing but train his minions, he fell in love with one of his disciples, a woman named Arden Lyn. At one point, Xendor and Arden were ambushed by Jedi Bendu on Dxun and Arden was fatally injured, though Xendor was able to use the healing powers of the Kaiburr crystal to resuscitate her, as well as to keep her young and beautiful for the rest of her life. A few years later, Xendor and Arden began to launch guerrilla bombings against Republic and Jedi Bendu sites. Towards the end of his time as Supreme General of the Legions of Lettow, Xendor began to explore worlds unknown to the Galactic Republic. During his exploration, he located a world called Korriban and found a race of people called the Sith. He became interested in them and they shared with him a great deal of their mythology, as well as the myth surrounding the supposedly immortality-granting Medallion of the Saarai-kaar. Before he returned to Dathomir, Xendor also shared with them his powers, showing them what the Force of Others was capable of. Only weeks later, Xendor announced his plan to destroy the Jedi Bendu on Coruscant once and for all. Days later, the minions set of numerous explosives around the Great Jedi Bendu Pyramid to surround the Jedi Bendu in flames. Xendor and his minions attacked the Jedi Bendu, though their assault was futile. All but a dozen minions, including Arden, were killed, as was Xendor. However, his spirit did return during the New Sith Wars as the Dark Underlord, though he was killed by the Jedi Order before the war was over. Even so, his legacy lived on for thousands of years after his second death through the Dark Guardians of Lettow, the Gungan Empire and the Prophets of Lettow. Also involved in the devastating conflict were the forces of the Galactic Republic, the Mandalorian Clans and the Chiss Ascendancy. The conflict was fought primarily to acquire new territory throughout the galaxy. The conflict traced its origins to the aftermath of the Jedi Civil War when the Sith Empire of Darth Revan and the Jedi Order were in shambles. Only a few hundred remained on each side and both were desperate to gain a foothold in new territory. Because the Galactic Republic was still attempting to rebuild after the events of the Mandalorian War, they paid the initial conflict no mind as they felt that it was a Jedi affair. However, once the Mandalorians and the Chiss entered the conflict, the Republic knew that it would have to defend its territory. Despite putting up a fight, there was a span of over one month where the Sith controlled Coruscant. The decisive confrontation came when the Third Sith Empire split into two factions, the loyalists and the Macabre Alliance, and began fighting within their own ranks. The Jedi and the Republic were able to take advantage of the situation and launch an offensive aimed at pushing the Sith out of Republic territories. The conflict was not over until Coruscant was liberated and Empress Viea was killed by a group of former Sith Lords. When the battle ended, the Sith limped back to Korriban where they did not become involved in another conflict until the Great Rim Lines War. It was noted for its conspicuous appearance--namely, an enormous glittering sphere that in later years was said to vaguely resemble the Death Star. Hovering in a stationary position in space near the Terax Nebula, it proved popular for both high society and commoners simply wishing to have a good time. It could accommodate at maximum ten thousand beings, and hence had seventy-eight different dance halls which were always playing something at any given time. Several luxury restaurants were also located there. The space station itself was about ten kilometers in diameter, with fifteen docking bays along its equator. It was unarmed, relying on local law enforcement for protection. In the center of the sphere was the main reactor, which was an advanced type that needed to cope with the constant lights and advanced sound systems in the dance halls of the station. Built around 40 BBY, by the mysterious magnate known as Shan Drievax, the station immediately became popular, and even in the Clone Wars visitor numbers remained high, and it was often used to host celebrations for events such as the end of the Clone Wars. However, during the more puritan times of the Empire, the music there was toned down and the management was forced to play pro-Imperial tunes. When the Empire collapsed, the station held its biggest party yet. The Club would continue to provide entertainment well into the days of the New Empire. They were characterized by their distinct third eye, known as a tyreal. In some members of the species this eye had hypnotic effects on weak-minded beings. Because of the harsh conditions of their homeworld, violence was an accepted part of life in the Cilwellian culture. To keep the war-like people from destroying each other, an Aulsur in the Pre-Republic era brought the various tribes under a single banner of the Holy Cilwellian Empire and established a strict code of conduct. This code was followed well into into the days of the New Republic. Even after the Cilwelli came under Hutt rule they remained highly traditional. Because their laws deemed submission to higher beings a great honor, they were often taken advantage of by the Hutts and later the Galactic Empire. However, it was the same strict honor-code that would ultimately save them from their abusive masters. Under the command of the High Priest, Sincol, the Cilwelli fought back by joining the Alliance to Restore the Republic and freeing their homeworld from the Empire. From that point onward, the Cilwelli would remain an active part of galactic politics. Thanks to a treaty signed by the New Republic, the Cilwelli were finally given their freedom after nearly 30,000 years of Hutt domination. However, their liberation would be short lived. The Yuuzhan Vong War saw the destruction of their homeworld and the near extinction of the Cilwelli race. Its roots lay at the time when Carsal Redharn noticed that the Srav Federation was setting up a major base on the idyllic world of Cul-Huq, which was rich in natural resources, providing a base of great wealth to the Srav Federation. He planned a major assault on the world, deciding that it would better serve Necasian assets and would help forward their war efforts. However, his treacherous commander Askar Invado sold valuable information to the Srav Intelligence units about the planned assault, and made sure that pre-battle Necasian sabotage failed dismally. When the Necasians arrived at the planet, they met with a large Srav force, ready and armed and completely unharmed by their planned sabotage. As a battle raged in space, a Necasian fleet managed to land on the world, where they engaged Srav forces, offloading their heavy weapons in an attempt to storm them. A group of Savi Alliance mercenaries were also present, however, and got caught in the crossfire, and began fighting both sides, pushing the Necasian storming attempt back. Eventually, however, with the loss of several Necasian ships and therefore a large part of their anti-missile laser countermeasures, Ivran Gresev, the Srav commander, lost patience and ordered a full nuclear bombardment of half the planet. Nearly all of the Necasian and Savi forces, as well as some Srav troops, were annihilated, causing severe damage to the Necasian war machine in that system, and offering all Redharn critics ammunition for their arguments. After the battle, Redharn received most of the blame for the defeat, with Askar Invado using it to call for a new leader, starting great political turmoil amongst the Necasians that would, eventually, lead to civil war. When he was young, he found out that he was carrying a spirit inside of him that had lasted for over one hundred thousand years, a destiny that he did not originally accept until he came to realize that if he believed in the possibility then he would do the right thing when the time came. In the years that followed, Sarus met Shmi Skywalker who was pregnant with a son, despite the fact that she was a virgin. After he fought off a supposed Sith assailant, Sarus helped deliver the child whom Shmi named Annikin Skywalker. Sarus believed that Annikin would go on to be the Chosen One based on what was said in the Prophecy of the Chosen One and the circumstances surrounding his birth. Shortly thereafter, Sarus was contacted by the Shaman of the Whills who told him of the destiny he would play in Annikin's life. In the years that followed, Sarus kept a close eye on Annikin, and he also had dealings with the Trade Federation. Years later, Sarus came into contact with Annikin once again, as well as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jard Dooku, Jar Binks and Sabé Arcadia, the outsiders that Annikin was allowing to stay at his home. Sarus led them into the Ophuchi Sanctuary in the Dune Sea where he told them about the Ophuchi people, and later the prophecy of the Chosen One. Annikin had a difficult time accepting his possible destiny, but Sarus was able to convince him to believe that it could be true. Later, they traveled to Anchorhead where they were able to negotiate with Bib Fortuna at Jabba the Hutt’s regional office to release Annikin from the Lars family’s sharecropping contract, though Annikin would first have to win a swoop race against his rival Sebulba. Annikin won the race, partially because of the fact that Sarus damaged the stabilizer on Sebulba's racer. After securing Annikin's release from the contract, Sarus confessed this to Annikin, who did not take it well. Shortly before saying goodbye to Annikin, Sarus transferred something from inside of himself into Annikin, though he did not tell Annikin what it was. Sarus left and spoke with the Shaman of the Whills once again who told him that his role in Annikin's destiny was over, though he would still have preordained roles to play in the future. According to the Ophuchi Clan, he was the supposed savior of the galaxy, whereas the Guardians of Lettow believed he was destined to be its destroyer. Skywalker dismissed both views as nonsense. His supposed destiny and actions during the Clone Wars led to his life being documented in the Journal of the Whills. Born in 41 BBY to Shmi Skywalker, Skywalker and his mother lived in the Mos Espa spaceport until he was ten years old, at which time Shmi married a moisture farmer named Cliegg Lars. Skywalker and his mother moved with Lars to the Lars homestead outside of the Anchorhead settlement, becoming moisture farmers themselves. In 22 BBY, a sandstorm moved through the Anchorhead area, causing the royal starship of Utapau's Queen Sabé Arcadia to crash. Skywalker entered the vessel to ensure that the passengers were safe. When he was inside, he met Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi Queen Arcadia, both of whom agreed to let Skywalker attempt to repair the vessel's hyperdrive generator after he volunteered to do so. One day later, Skywalker met a hermit named Sarus and was told that he had a destiny to destroy an evil army, which was confirmed by Cliegg. Skywalker, along with Kenobi and a group of the other outsiders, went on a pilgrimage with Sarus into the Dune Sea, where Sarus told him that he was destined to fulfill a prophecy and become a galactic savior. Sarus put Skywalker through a series of tests in an attempt to prepare him for the fulfillment of his destiny, but Skywalker rejected the notion that he was a savior and demanded that Sarus stop interfering in his life. The conflict began when The Skywalker, who was then named Jedi Bendu while living as the adopted son of the King of Had Abaddon, found a group of slaves from the Ophuchi Tribe and realized he was one of them based on the powers that he and they shared. Days later, The Skywalker spoke to Yahweh, the creator of the universe, on Mount Sky who sent The Skywalker on a quest to free the Ophuchi from their enslavement. The Skywalker later returned to face his brother Achab Tarea, who had become king in their father’s place, and with him he brought plagues from Yahweh that were used against the monarchy in an attempt to force it to free the Ophuchi. In the end, the Ophuchi were freed, but Achab changed his mind and entered into a duel with The Skywalker, a duel that The Skywalker won by killing Achab. The soldiers under the fallen king’s command followed the Ophuchi as they left the planet for Kal'Shabbol, the planet that was said to be the Promised Land, but the soldiers were stopped and killed due to divine intervention. When the Ophuchi arrived on Kal'Shabbol, they began setting up a colony where they would be able to live. During that time, they formed the Order of the Jedi Bendu of the Ophuchi and began to put together their beliefs and ideals into a collective group. This event led to further colonization of the planet when settlers from many planets across the Ashlan Expanse heard about the exodus, though when the Eternal Order of the Vipera settled on the planet following the First Had Abaddon Civil War it also led to the Kal’Shabbol Civil War. Nevertheless, the event was said to have had mainly positive results based on the events that followed because of it. The conflict traced it’s origins to the aftermath of the Exodus from Had Abaddon which saw the collapse of the monarchy of Had Abaddon. The Eternal Order of the Vipera, which had been residing on Had Abaddon, was under the protection of the monarchy to avoid persecution for their darker yet quiet arts, and when the new monarchy rose to power following the First Had Abaddon Civil War they were forced to flee from persecution to Kal'Shabbol where they hoped to begin a new and peaceful life. However, because the Jedi Bendu had been responsible for the overthrowing of the monarchy, they became a taboo culture to the other colonists and the cultists developed an anti-social culture within a valley. During one poor season, a famine overtook Kal'Shabbol and the Valley People believed that the Jedi Bendu were stealing their food. This led them to attack the Jedi Bendu, officially beginning combat operations. However, when the Valley People discovered the existence of the Force of Others, which they believed was a treasure, they demanded that it be given to them. They were angered when the Jedi Bendu offered to share it with them and continued the war. The war stretched on for nearly one year, forcing the colonists to eventually become involved, until the Valley People were finally able to discover the location of their supposed treasure. When they found it, they realized it was nothing more than the peace and love of Yahweh, the creator and God of the Universe. The Valley People returned to their valley, ashamed of their actions during the war. Within weeks, cultist General Anguigena led most of his army in a ritualistic suicide, as the customs of the people dictated that it was the only way to atone for their crimes. The High Shaman Nazzereal was arrested and charged with crimes against sentience, and many of the other valley townspeople either assimilated into the colonies of Kal'Shabbol or moved to other worlds in the Ashlan Expanse. The aftermath of the war saw the Jedi Bendu fulfilling their mandate of establishing the Order of the Whills, and the legacy of the conflict was eventually one of the reasons that Fillorean, a Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic eighty-five thousand years after the war, caused the schism that saw the creation of the Jedi Order and the Bendu Order. Born in 47 BBY as the daughter of King Veruna Arcadia, Arcadia grew up under the guidance of her father until he was assassinated in 24 BBY. Because he was assassinated due to his unpopular military expansion policies, Arcadia reversed many of them once she took the planet's throne. In 23 BBY, Arcadia became a principal supporter of the successful passage of the Republic Anti-Slavery Law. The Trade Federation, which was financially impacted by the law, blockaded Utapau in an attempt to force the Republic to reverse the law. Arcadia attempted to negotiate for one month, but the Federation invaded the planet and began an occupation. This prompted Arcadia, with help from Jedi Master Jard Dooku and Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, to escape the planet. Arcadia's escape vessel was damaged by the planetary blockade, so with Arcadia’s blessing the crew set a course for Tatooine to safely make repairs. The conflict began after Utapau Senator Malus Palpatine and Queen Sabé Arcadia supported the Republic Anti-Slavery Law, a successfully passed act in the Galactic Senate that prevented Galactic Republic corporations, such as the Federation, from using slave labor outside of Republic jurisdiction. Because the Federation relied on slave labor in the Outer Rim Territories, and with help from Dark Jedi Master Maul, the shipping cartel blockaded Utapau in the hopes of repealing the law. The planet was chosen both out of revenge for its support of the law and because the Federation deemed the planet helpless. After one month of failed negotiation by Queen Arcadia and her Advisory Council, the Federation cut off all communication on the planet and began landing their droid army. The Federation invaded the city of New Centrif before moving onto Harte Secur, Spinnaker and Ogana, the planet’s capital. Arcadia was captured during the Battle of Ogana and was told by Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray that she would have to force a treaty. Because she refused, she was ordered to be sent to a Federation internment camp, but Arcadia and her advisers were rescued by Jedi ambassadors Jard Dooku and Obi-Wan Kenobi before they all escaped the planet in the hopes of reaching Coruscant. Raymus himself was nearly killed by the assassin, barely escaping with his brother by crash-landed via escape pod on Dantooine, which was being attacked by the Kaleesh as a result of Drazil's death. A few months later, they fought in the Battle of Geonosis and became recruits in the Clone Army. Raymus was soon promoted to the rank of Captain by Jaric Mothell at the Battle of Muunilist, where his strategy saved the Republic from defeat. Though he denied it, he was considered brilliant by his superiors. Months into the war, he and his brother were captured by the Nockudumey. During their captivity, it was revealed that an assassin named Mecupa had killed their father. A skirmish which Raymus and Tarisian participated in followed the denouncement of Bodotor Thuvat, ending with the arrival of Republic forces which rescued the Drewtons forced the Nockudumey to retreat. Located in the Dune Sea on the desert world of Tatooine, and roughly eight standard hours outside of Anchorhead, it was built sometime around the time of the New Sith Wars after the scattered Ophuchi were brought there by the Shaman of the Whills. It also essentially became one of the final resting places of the complete Prophecy of the Chosen One. There were numerous areas within the compound for residences, common areas and worship services. One of the more well-known known but lesser-used places of worship was a cave sanctuary nearly one kilometer away from the main compound that was adorned with cave paintings serving as prophecies. There was also a large ledge a few meters away from the cave that overlooked the Tatooine desert for hundreds of kilometers. It was in this location that Sarus told Annikin Skywalker that he believed Annikin was the Chosen One spoken of in the prophecy. Though there was little documented history on the sanctuary, it was known that the construction was credited to the Shaman of the Whills, who began appearing to displaced Ophuchi and led them to the Dune Sea where they built the compound shortly thereafter. There was also little evidence of the sanctuary’s existence on Tatooine, though there were numerous rumors about it. The local governments on the planet chose not to investigate it and, for reasons unknown, always dismissed any accounts of it as an urban legend. It was fought by the New Republic against the Dark Order of Korr, an Imperial Remnant faction led by the fallen Jedi Jaden Korr. After the Republic confirmed Jaden's presence on Bakura, a large fleet was sent to capture or kill the renegade. The battle began in orbit, where the Dark Order's fleet was attacked by the Republic armada. During the battle, the Republic deployed a ground army on Bakura's surface, which attacked the Imperial stronghold where Jaden was located. While the battles raged in orbit and on the ground, Jaden Korr was confronted inside the base by Darth Imperious, the apprentice of Darth Persia, a self-proclaimed Sith Lord. Persia had infiltrated the Dark Order under the guise of a Dark Jedi, hoping to usurp Jaden's rule and take control of the Order for himself. Imperious had been sent to Bakura's surface to kill Jaden, allowing Persia to continue his plans. The Jedi Master Kyle Katarn arrived during the confrontation, having traveled to Bakura to capture his former apprentice. Katarn's appearance prompted a three-sided duel inside the stronghold, during which Imperious was incapacitated. As a result, Darth Persia, who was commanding the Imperial fleet in orbit, was unable to sense his apprentice through the Force and eventually came to the conclusion that he had been killed by Jaden. Fearing that the Dark Jedi would escape and pose a future threat to his own power, Persia ordered the fleet to execute a Base Delta Zero operation, destroying the surface of the planet. Although Imperious and Katarn both managed to escape, Jaden Korr died in the holocaust and the New Republic fleet was routed. He participated in the Invasion of Utapau, and was a Jedi General during the Clone Wars and an exiled Jedi during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Born on Dantooine, Kenobi became a member of the Jedi Order and trained under Jedi Grandmaster Yoda as a child, but he had not been chosen by a master to become an apprentice by his thirteenth birthday. Kenobi was assigned to the Jedi AgriCorps on Bandomeer, but after saving Jedi Master Jard Dooku from an assassination plot Kenobi was chosen by Dooku to be an apprentice. Kenobi trained under Dooku for many years before becoming a Jedi Knight. In 22 BBY, in retaliation for the planet’s sponsoring of the Republic Anti-Slavery Law, the Trade Federation shipping cartel blockaded Utapau to cut it off from the galaxy. After one month of failed negotiations, Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic Finis Valorum sent Kenobi and Dooku to the blockade command ship as ambassadors to resolve the situation. The two Jedi were targeted for assassination, so they stowed away aboard Federation landing vessels that were used in the subsequent invasion of the planet. Kenobi and Dooku met Jar Binks, the exiled Crowned Prince of the Gungan Empire, who took them to the Gungan city Otoh Gunga for refuge from the Federation. After receiving transportation from the Gungans, the group freed Queen Sabé Arcadia and her advisers from Federation forces in the capital city of Ogana before escaping, along with the queen and a dozen of her guards and advisers, the planet. In order to make repairs to their escape vessel, they traveled to Tatooine, where a sandstorm further damaged the ship. Annikin Skywalker, a local moisture farmer, agreed to help repair the ship while the entire crew stayed on Skywalker's moisture farm. After the crisis on Utapau, Kenobi participated in the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Republic and the Mandalorian Clans. Sometime during or after the war, he was promoted to the rank of Jedi Master. In 7 BBY, Kenobi was an exiled Jedi due to the rise of the Galactic Empire and subsequent destruction of the Jedi Order. It occurred when the Srav Federation, deciding to exploit the turmoil amongst the Necasian Military following the collapse of the Necasian-Zayre alliance, launched an attack on the Necasian-controlled world of Kothlis. Kothlis was rich in resources and also a strategically located point for both sides, with a number of Necasian installations located there. Outnumbered and taken by surprise, the Necasians dug in the Freta Archipelago, where their forces were concentrated. Under the command of their leader Askar Invado, the Necasians attempted to mount a solid defense, but their numbers and equipment proved inadequate to slow down the Srav advance. The Necasians managed to hold out for two days, fighting on land, sea, and air, with the Sravs gradually pushing forward along the Archipelago using island-hopping tactics. The Necasians believed that defeat was certain until the arrival of the Necasian fighter ace Renard Curl, who, along with accompanying reinforcements, turned the tide of the battle. The Sravs were pushed into retreat by his onslaught, although much of the Necasian infrastructure in the archipelago was wrecked by them in their retreat. Although the battle was not considered to have massively impacted on the course of the war, it came to be remembered as one of the bloodiest battles of the conflict. This was said to have been due to the loss of life on both sides and the so-called brutality enacted by troops of both factions. For this reason, the battle was also noted for being especially traumatic for the troops who took part. After arriving on Kamino and speaking with the planet’s Supreme Leader, Windy discovered that the army was being created to be used by the Republic, not against it. He did, however, feel that the Kaminoans were deceiving him, so after leaving Kamino he set out to find Jango Fett, the genetic host of the clones, to gather more information on the situation. After his investigations, Windy participated in the Clone Wars. The Journal of the Whills later referred to him as a warrior who received mainstream galactic recognition. Originally, the Kaleesh had come to negotiate with the Republic. However, when Senator Drazil Drewton, acting as ambassador for the Republic, did not arrive, they thought that they had been tricked and therefore attacked Khoonda, the autonomous government of Dantooine. Not only Kaleesh assisted in the fight against Khoonda, but also Trade Federation B1 battle droids, mercenaries, and the Mandalorian Crusaders. Ludge Ganler himself, the administrator of Khoonda, was captured, along with Tarisian and Raymus, the sons of Drazil Drewton and sole survivors of the previous assassination attempt. Searching for the captives, Jedi Master Idnum-Ki entered a cave in which he instead found the Pau'an Sith Darth Desolous. After brief resistance from the Jedi, Desolous taught him much of the dark side of the Force which Idnum would use in the concurrent battle. Meanwhile, his Padawan Dular located the captive Drewtons and freed them. The Jedi then rejoined the battle, and Idnum-Ki fought against General Sheelal in a lightsaber duel. As he himself was not a Force sensitive, Qymaen was no match for Ki's abilities, and he watched as the Dark Jedi turned the tide of the battle in favor of the Republic with Battle Meditation. Though the defeated General was allowed to escape, Khoonda was victorious, and celebrated hours after the conclusion of the battle. Snow droids were created specially by Baktoid Combat Automata, the main droid manufacturer of the Confederacy, to solve the problem of regular battle droids and super battle droids performing lower than usual standards in icy environments. They were considered to be very effective. Snow droids were much taller than the other droids. Other features of the snow droids were that they wore white plating to camouflage them in the snow, and they were capable of handling a handheld blaster and the blaster mounted to their wrist. Snow droids won and lost many battles during the Clone Wars. Major battles they fought in included the battles of Rhen Var, Ilum, Diado, Nelvaan, and Mygeeto. After the main control signal of all the battle droids on every planet, was disabled, snow droids, like the rest of the Confederate armies, were shut down. However, after the Clone Wars, they indirectly inspired the Galactic Empire's snowtroopers, because the Empire knew that they needed a special unit for use on the snowy terrain, to increase efficiency in terrains their basic unit could not. It aired shortly after the show completed its first season, starting on July 1, 2008, and continuing for six weeks. It was six short episodes depicting the life of two stormtroopers, TK-421 and TK-422, during their first day on the Death Star. However, the first day turned out to be extremely hectic for them. During orientation, the two stormtroopers learned the number one rule around the Death Star was "Do not remove your helmet", which was considered worse than forming a plan to overthrow the Empire. With both stormtroopers sent to solitary confinement, together, they soon discovered the relationship between Darth Vader and Princess Leia. Through a turn of events, they met up with the escaped convicts back at the detention block and witnessed two men, a Wookiee and a Force ghost Jedi free the Princess and escape. With this look into what went on in the Death Star during Episode IV: A New Hope, audiences got a glimpse of what a day in the life of a stormtrooper really was like. It was directed by Seth Hoover and released through the same two companies as the main series, College Kids Productions and The League of Extraordinary Jedi. It was also the beginning of what would be a continuous broadcasting of mini-series in between each season of The Fanon Menace. As a Padawan, he had an interest, later leading to an obsession, of Sith holocrons. This entailed much discussion over him from the Jedi High Council, but at the time they merely dismissed it as curiosity. After being made a Jedi Master years later, he took Dular as his apprentice in 34 BBY when the Padawan was abandoned by his previous Master, Xarkun. In 32 BBY, Idnum-Ki joined the Jedi Council of Seers, a group dedicated to stopping the return of the Sith. He did whatever necessary to stop their possible return, even if that meant killing Ibtiseh, a fellow Jedi who he had foreseen would indirectly cause the death of the Jedi Council members. During the same year, he participated in the Siege of Dantooine, in which he was turned to the dark side of the Force by an ancient Sith named Darth Desolous. Idnum gradually began to feed his own Padawan the same teachings, and made occasional visits to Dantooine for further training from Desolous, though he did not consider himself a Sith at the time. By the time of the Clone Wars, Idnum-Ki had become a manipulative Dark Jedi. He placed seeds of doubt within his own Padawan, and used even Count Dooku, the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, as a tool. He had grown powerful enough to strip the Force away from a Jedi or Sith, and conferred once with Darth Sidious, the Dark Lord of the Sith. He later became an outcast Jedi Master following the events during and after the Conclave on Ossus that sparked a schism amongst the Jedi, which created the Ospion Guardians. He was born on Coruscant and taken into the Order as an infant, and during his training he came to be seen as a skilled duelist by his masters. When he was eighteen years old, Banik was enslaved in the Outer Rim Territories by a mining company during a failed mission with his master, who was killed by the slavers. Although Banik initially attempted escape, the plot failed and Banik remained in custody, during which time he met and fell in love with a woman named Al'eal. Al'eal, however, was killed while saving Banik’s life, after which Banik was finally able to escape from the slavers and return to Coruscant. After psychological testing and a brief retraining period, Banik took his Jedi Trials and was promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight. Many years later, Banik became a Jedi Master and was granted a seat on the Coruscant Jedi Council, the Jedi governing body in the Great Jedi Pyramid on Coruscant. He later became the Grandmaster of the Coruscant Council, giving him a seat on the Jedi High Council, and after then-Jedi Grandmaster Sarus Kappa resigned from his post, Banik was elected Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. Around this same time, Coruscant was invaded and captured by the Alsakan Union, a religious organization seeking to claim control of Coruscant, an act which started the Alsakan Crisis of 13,000 BBY between the Alsakans and the Galactic Republic. After the conflict began, Banik attempted to negotiate peace efforts between the Galactic Republic’s Supreme Chancellor Relana Isolde Tanoor and the Alsakan Vicar Lharra in the hopes of avoiding a full-scale war, but Lharra was assassinated while meeting with Banik at the Jedi Enclave on Ossus and the Alsakans implicated Banik in the crime. One week later, Banik called and led the Conclave on Ossus. During the event, he was said to have had a psychotic breakdown and was accused of murdering Jedi Master Edo Tesu, whom Banik had claimed to be a traitor. Although Banik was arrested for the murder, he was able to escape Ossus with the help of two other Jedi Knights and travel to Onderon for safety. A shuttle piloted by Captain Raymus Drewton and clone trooper pilot Reeves was secretly sent to Adirof, with Dular, a Jedi; three clone troopers including recruited soldiers Commander Kyle Krenis and Lieutenant Tarisian Drewton; Daklif Ordo, a Mandalorian; and two prisoners, Bodotor Thuvat and Dem Nozah, on board. Before it could arrive on Adirof, however, the shuttle was shot down by a Separatist battleship and crash-landed on the planet's moon. All on board except Reeves survived. As the survivors searched for a transport off the seemingly-uninhabited moon, tension rose from previous situations and suspicions had grown from the crash, resulting in the survivors fighting against each other. The fight was quickly interrupted when Separatist droids emerged from the nearby ocean's water. After escaping the droids, the shuttle-crash survivors determined that, because of the Separatist's occupation of the moon, there would be Separatist starships on the moon which they could use. Soon after, Dular was confronted by Separatist Commander Asajj Ventress and dueled her. Upon locating a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle, Commander Krenis, Captain Drewton, Lieutenant Drewton, Daklif Ordo, and a clone trooper hijacked it and rescued Dular from the duel. Unknown to them at the time, prisoners Bodotor Thuvat and Dem Nozah had remained on the moon in order to make a deal with Separatist leader Count Dooku. Though the incident did not go exactly according to Darth Sidious's plan, he was confident that enough had been achieved. Beginning shortly after the corporate Trade Federation landed its forces on Utapau, in retaliation for anti-slavery laws passed by the Galactic Republic, the battle was fought between the Federation, led by battle droid commander OOM-9, and the New Centrif Security Forces, led by Security Captain Sotab Jacoma. The purpose of the battle was to destroy the planet’s last remaining active communications array, the other arrays on the planet having already been jammed by the Federation. New Centrif Mayor Arruinada intended to use the array to warn Utapau Queen Sabé Arcadia, who was in the capital city of Ogana, about the arrival of the Federation forces. After the Federation destroyed the city’s security perimeter gate, the droid forces, which numbered in either the hundreds or thousands, swarmed the city and engaged the security forces and armed townspeople, although the defenders numbered only in the dozens. The New Centrif forces were quickly overwhelmed, resulting in the deaths of virtually all of the security forces within minutes. Jacoma and a few other officers remained alive, although Jacoma ended up killing himself when he used a grenade to destroy the droids in the area. Towards the end of the battle, Arruinada recorded a partial message to send to Queen Arcadia, but the mayor was killed before completing the transmission. The Federation destroyed the communications array and went on to attack Utapau's capital city of Ogana, where they captured Queen Arcadia. It occurred when the elite Rakata commando group the Lost Ones, cut off from their civilization, arrived on the desert world of Ahara to activate a secret cadre of droids belonging to the Infinite Empire, the collapsed galactic Empire they had once worked for. As part of this plan, they had obtained the supposedly powerful artifact known as the Hand of Darkness several months before. In the process, however, they destroyed a spy outpost on the world belonging to the fascist Necasian Military, which managed to send out a distress call before its destruction. Both an elite Necasian squad, led by proclaimed Necasian hero Haveer Jarn, and a group of Srav Hammer Division troops led by Jarn's counterpart, Nataska Vergulva, picked up the distress call and arrived on the planet, and both had to reluctantly work with each other against the Ratakan droid legions. Meanwhile, the Zayre leader Storm Ironwings, treated as a heroine by her people, also participated in the battle, engaging the Lost Ones leader Ravyr in a duel. Nonetheless, with the combined efforts of the two commando groups, and to a lesser extent the Zayre, Ravyr was defeated and the Lost Ones fled, with their temple on the planet being razed by a Srav nuclear strike. Born on Utapau to Gungan leader Gorgr Binks, he enlisted in the Gungan military in the city of Otoh Gunga at a young age where he served as the watchman of an ancient relic, called the Kaiburr crystal by the government of Utapau. During this time, Binks’s father died and it was decided that Binks was too young to take the throne, so he was replaced as leader of the Gungans by Rugor Nass. The assignment to guard the relic, which was his duty as the Crowned Prince, eventually led to his exile, as a female colleague named Scortora distracted Binks and allowed the Utapau government to steal the relic. This caused the Gungan High Council to exile Binks to the surface of the planet. Two years later, the Trade Federation shipping cartel invaded Utapau in retaliation for the planet’s support of the Republic Anti-Slavery Law. Binks encountered Jedi Master Jard Dooku and Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi in the forests and offered to bring them to Otoh Gunga for safety, provided that they helped him gain favor with the Gungans so he would be accepted back into the city. The three were arrested upon entry into the city and taken before the Gungan High Council. Dooku was able to secure them a transport, as well as secure Binks’s freedom from the execution he would face due to his return. The group later arrived in Utapau’s capital of Ogana where they rescued Queen Sabé Arcadia and her advisers from their Federation captors and escaped on the planet onto a royal starship, setting course for the desert planet Tatooine. Having learned of the adopted homeworld of the Zayre species, Ankarr, the Srav Federation launched a full-scale invasion of the planet, intending to subjugate the Zayre race and remove them as threats. The Sravs also saw the move as vengeance against the Zayre for assisting the Srav enemies earlier in the war. To strengthen their numbers, the Sravs hired a large force of Savi Alliance mercenaries, and allowed Savi commanders to participate in the planning and execution of the battle. Both sides then launched a lightning assault on Ankarr, with Zayre warriorwoman Storm Ironwings and former Necasian leader Carsal Redharn mounting the defense. The Zayre, however, considered themselves disadvantaged by what they felt was the orbital superiority of the other factions, and took losses from liberal use of chemical and nuclear weapons by the Sravs. Under Ironwing's command, the still Zayre managed to hold their ground in some areas. Nonetheless, the Zayre were eventually overwhelmed by numbers and firepower, and the Sravs began what was considered to be a repressive occupation of the planet. Following the battle, Irownings and Redharn fled underground and led an unsuccessful resistance movement against the Sravs before eventually fleeing off world. The battle, fought between the Trade Federation Droid Army and the Utapau Security Forces, resulted in a victory by the Federation that allowed them to capture Ogana, Utapau’s capital city. Queen Sabé Arcadia, who had been under security protection in the Ogana Royal Palace, ordered her forces to stop fighting what she believed a futile battle and was captured by the Federation forces. After her capture, Arcadia was told by Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray that she would have to sign a treaty that would legitimize the Federation occupation of the planet. Arcadia refused to sign the treaty, so she was assigned to Federation Camp Four, a Trade Federation concentration camp on the outskirts of Ogana. While en route to the camp, the battle droids assigned to escort her and her advisers were attacked by Jedi Master Jard Dooku, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and exiled Gungan Prince Jar Binks. The three rescued the queen and her people before bringing them to a starship that managed to escape the Federation blockade in orbit around the planet. Early in her life, Allura aspired to pursue a successful career as a medical practitioner. She eventually took the opportunity to make her aspiration a reality and attended the Academy of Medicine on Byblos where she trained towards becoming a doctor. After graduating from the academy, Allura became a medical trainee within the Galactic Empire. After causing a foul-up during her posting on Denon, Allura was sentenced to incarceration at an Imperial prison on the Outer Rim world of Dathomir, eventually becoming the facility’s medical supervisor after her sentence had ended. During her time on Dathomir, Allura’s medical knowledge was exploited by the prison’s Chief Warden, Garis Lorvan. Lorvan coerced Allura to work for him as a torturer, forcing her to submissively carry out his orders regardless of her initial misgivings. When an Inquisitor by the name of Lyon Olof took control of the prison in response to incursions by Nightsisters, Allura was subjected to interrogation when Olof believed that she was an undercover Nightsister agent. After her potential was realized, Allura was ultimately convinced by Olof to become a member of the Inquisitorius herself. Following the completion of her training at the College of the Inquisition, Allura worked as an interrogator at the organization’s command center on Prakith. Years after her induction into the Inquisitorius, Allura took part in an operation to eliminate a suspected terrorist faction on the world of Dakshee. Working with an Imperial Intelligence major known as Orem Ducat on behalf of Governor Gerald Weizel, the terrorist ringleaders were eventually identified, though they were subsequently killed in a purposely botched arrest attempt. Following the end of the assignment, Allura was chastised for not undertaking her duty to a satisfactory level. Originally inhabited by the indigenous and sentient Gungan species, the planet was colonized by Humans following the Jedi Civil War, a galactic conflict between the Second Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. The two sentient species fought a war that sent the Gungans into the Aquarian Ocean, allowing the Humans to take control of the surface. Gungans and Humans fought each other once more thousands of years later during the Gungan-Utapauan War. Despite the multiple domestic wars, the planet was only part of an outside conflict on three known occasions. The first, in 3,522 BBY, was when the planet was attacked during the Great Sovereign Crusades, a war fought primarily between the Republic and the Third Sith Empire. The second was the Trade Federation shipping cartel’s Invasion of Utapau, which led directly into the third conflict, the Clone Wars. As a member world of the Republic, it was watched over by a member of the Republic's Galactic Senate but primarily ruled by a sole monarch. After the Gungan-Utapauan War, the House of Arcadia assumed the throne and kept their royal title at least until the Invasion of Utapau. The Gungans ruled over the Gungan Empire in the Aquarian Ocean, having little contact with the Human government due to disagreements stemming back from the initial colonization of the planet. When Lars was old enough, and despite his father's disagreement, he joined the Republic Judicial Forces, the military branch of the Galactic Republic. Sometime after Lars returned to Tatooine, he met and married Akia Lars and the two had a son, Owen. Akia died a few years later due to an illness caused by exposure to sunlight. In 32 BBY, Lars met Shmi Skywalker in Tatooine's Mos Espa settlement, and the two married one year later. This gave Lars a stepson, Annikin Skywalker, whom he came to think of his own son and wanted to be a strong father figure for. In 22 BBY, Lars allowed a group of outsiders from a crashed starship from Utapau to stay on his farm while Annikin helped repair the vessel’s damaged hyperdrive generator. Other contributors include Solus, Edward Oliver, and Brent Krajewski. The saga spans across a vast timeline, starting around 99,945 BBY until at least 7 BBY, with central characters in the Bac, Lanmaw, and Skywalker families. Central events include the Great Territorial War, the Clone Wars, and the Galactic Civil War. Novels in the Alternative Saga include Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One and Star Wars: The Alderaan Affair. There are a number of planned novels and series such as the Chronicles of the Great War series, the Trials of War series, Star Wars: Betrayal, and My Father's Dreams. An animated spin-off of The Chosen One was also planned, but was later canceled. On internet communities such as the Star Wars Fanon Wiki, TheStarWarsRP.Com and the Jedi Council Boards on TheForce.Net, the Alternative Saga has received praise from many readers and reviewers. Compliments range from what reviewers perceive to be strengths in dialogue and overall storytelling to the ability to take the existing Star Wars Saga and turn it into a convincing and engaging alternate universe story, something that some readers have noted is rare in rewrites of the Star Wars Saga. Although some reviews have been more tempered, the overall feedback has been largely positive. Shadan was born in 13,036 BBY on the planet Dellalt, where he murdered his mother along with several other prominent authorities in his life before permanently leaving his homeworld at the age of seventeen. After abandoning his childhood home in 13,019 BBY, he rarely settled down in one location for more than a few months at time. Instead, he constantly traveled between planets to find new victims and evade capture. Emulating the traits of the Anzati, Shadan killed all of his targets with a form of Force drain and absorbed their life experiences. Because of this power and his egomania, as determined by his future captors, he had a compulsion to hunt beings he considered to have a "high potential" in life. Due to its vast population, Coruscant became the killer’s favorite location to visit, and the majority of his crimes occurred there. Government authorities from each planet he visited never uncovered Shadan’s true identity or motive, and they named him cXe after the shape of the bruises that he left on his victims. Even when Shadan left clues, codes, and riddles for the officials to analyze, almost no detective managed to locate him. Private investigator Vencit Duly was the first to successfully track him down. Following the conclusion of the Alsakan Crisis in 12,999 BBY, the Republic adopted a policy of expansion into the Mid Rim of the galaxy in order to gain support for any potential future conflicts. This expansionist policy proved to be a source of tension with the Hutt Empire of the Outer Rim Territories, as the Hutts feared that the Republic was planning to expand into the Outer Rim Territories and, with it, Hutt space. This led to more than a decade of failed negotiations and tense diplomatic relations between the two governments. In 12,979 BBY, the Republic’s Supreme Chancellor, Homer Anthony Salandra, proposed a meeting with the Hutt leader, Gorrbag, on the neutral Mid Rim world of Iridonia where the two sides could discuss their respective issues. During the meeting, a battle broke out in orbit, though it was unknown who fired the first shots. Believing that they were overwhelmed, the Republic forces retreated from Iridonia, which sparked the Hutt War once the Hutts used the battle as justification to move their forces into the Mid Rim to combat the Republic. The form was originally created from the techniques of various common lightsaber forms. Cyril had taken what he had considered to be the more useful moves from the forms Makashi, Soresu, Ataru, Juyo, and Sokan and transitioned them into a single style. After a few years, however, Master Khan decided to take the combat form in a different direction after it started to appear identical to Niman in both strengths and weaknesses. Khan intended for Hayai Oujou to become an effective dueling form, which made use of never ending momentum. The form had an interchangeable offense and defense that led masters to state, “Every strike is a block, and every block is a strike.” This statement did not apply to all techniques, but it did to most. Initiates often used the form recklessly due to its difficult techniques and applications, but once training was fully completed, a student would have developed the precision and grace the style required. Hayai Oujou had originally been designed to fit a combatant with a weighted sword and not a lightsaber. Seeing a Jedi apply this style with his lightsaber did not fully reveal the fact that the style was originally designed for the weighted sword, and only the blaster defense techniques exposed this detail. Hayai Oujou had almost no techniques to block or redirect attacks from ranged weapons, because a combatant with a weighted sword and no Force potential had little chance of stopping the incoming fire. The weighted sword was also used primarily in training, regardless of whether the trainee was to use a lightsaber later. As a pirate, he worked in the Hutt Cartel crime syndicate. Having participated in many successful missions, Zarek became a regular employee of the Cartel. On a mission to the planet Caamas, Zarek was betrayed by his colleague, a Talortai called Urai Fen, and was captured by the Galactic Empire. Derdram fabricated a story regarding his own capture, and the Empire accepted the fabrication due to his previous record of being a student on Carida. As Zarek did not wish to return to the Hutt Cartel, he joined the Empire. Zarek became a member of Imperial Intelligence as well as a corporal in the Imperial Security Bureau. After he participated in a number of missions for the Empire, Zarek served aboard the first Death Star, an Imperial superweapon. Later becoming disenchanted with the Imperial system, Zarek offered to sabotage the Death Star for the Rebel Alliance, the sworn enemy of the Empire. Whilst sabotaging the Death Star, the Sith Lord Darth Vader discovered his attempts on a visit to the station. Zarek was arrested by the Empire for treason. The period was one that saw a number of political events in the Republic, including the end of the Yinchorri Uprising during the Battle of Uhanayih. During the battle, a Jedi strike team, with assistance from a number of Republic vessels, infiltrated a hidden Yinchorri High Command base on Uhanayih. The Jedi strike team took the High Command into custody, effectively ending the conflict. As the Yinchorri Uprising was coming to a close, the Republic Senate deliberated the Republic Anti-Slavery Law, a measure that would forbid Republic corporations from using slaves outside Republic territory. The scandal-marred Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum signed the anti-slave measure into law once the deliberations ended. In response, the Trade Federation shipping cartel drafted plans to blockade and invade the planet Utapau, as the corporate monopoly's profits were negatively impacted by their inability to use slaves in the Outer Rim Territories. The Federation carried out their plan and invaded Utapau one year later, an attack that led to the Jedi Order's discovery of Annikin Skywalker, the supposed Chosen One, on the Outer Rim world Tatooine. After his death, Arcadia was succeeded by his daughter, Sabé Arcadia, who served into the Invasion of Utapau. Arcadia was remembered by his people as one of the more unpopular rulers from the House of Arcadia, having lost the trust of the majority of the planet's citizens. Most of the issues of his rule were due to his controversial security policies. Along with Utapau's Senator, Malus Palpatine, Arcadia supported the right of the Trade Federation to purchase plasma discovered on the planet at a fixed cost. After dealing with the Federation for some time, the planet's government discovered that the Federation was cheating Utapau out of money by selling the plasma to buyers at a higher price. Utapau pulled out of the deal and, fearing a military confrontation with the Federation, Arcadia expanded the size of the planetary defense forces. Shortly thereafter, he was assassinated due to his controversial security decisions. Arcadia was succeeded by his daughter, who reversed many of her father's policies that were widely considered to be unpopular by the planet's citizens. Though he originally trained to become a technician, Nodnarb instead chose to leave his homeworld and the Alliance. Once accepted, he trained as a pilot and learned to fly the main starfighter of the Alliance, the X-wing. When he accompanied a convoy as part of his first mission, Nodnarb was part of the escort that saved Ank Ki'Shor from the forces of the Galactic Empire. After this success, Nodnarb became part of Operation Skyhook, the Alliance's plan to locate the plans to and destroy the Empire's first Death Star. Although Nodnarb and the other members involved in Operation Skyhook succeeded in destroying the Death Star, the deaths Nodnarb witnessed led him to instead become an officer aboard an Alliance. The Empire sought to rebuild the Death Star and began construction on a second one. The Alliance discovered this and sought to destroy it once more. To that end, the Alliance prepared a fleet to attack the second Death Star at Endor. When the Alliance attacked the second superweapon, which the Alliance saw as the last bastion of Imperial strength, the ship Nodnarb was serving aboard was destroyed, killing Nodnarb and everyone else aboard. After his exile, he pursued a successful career as a bounty hunter. Madclaw's prodigious strength and predisposition towards violence were a factor in his becoming a bodyguard and enforcer aboard the starship Grinning Liar. While on board the ship, Madclaw developed an infatuation for a member of the crew named Kee. The ship's captain, Chak, felt threatened by this, so Madclaw was abandoned. This led Madclaw to seek out the pirate Rav in order to lay a trap for the pair so he could be reunited with Kee. After his plan failed, Madclaw began scouring the galaxy for the two who abandoned him. After finding their whereabouts from a number of their associates, including a Devaronian named Vilmarh Grahrk, Madclaw's search led him to Ossus. After using his superior strength to kill Chak, Madclaw pursued Kee, who had fled in the aftermath of the fight. Eventually boarding her ship in orbit around a star in the Outer Rim Territories, Kee tried to kill Madclaw but failed. Because of her failure, Kee killed herself. Having not paid attention to the course of the ship during his search for Kee, Madclaw failed to notice that her ship was drifting towards the nearby star. Shortly after Kee's death, the ship was drawn into the sun and Madclaw was killed. Lilith was able to successfully trap Skywalker after he was separated from Sarus, the leader of the Ophuchi Clan, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. It was in this trap that Lilith revealed to Skywalker that Maul and the Guardians of Lettow wanted to capture him alive, as they sought to help him destroy the galaxy as they believed he was destined to do. Meanwhile, Maul tortured Sarus, whom he had dueled during the first sanctuary attack decades earlier. As the torturing continued, however, Maul and the Lettow were cast away by Ussej Padric Bac, the Shaman of the Whills, using an ancient Bendu ritual to end the assault. The attack helped solidify Skywalker's resistance to and hatred of Sarus, as he believed the hermit leader had known about the Lettow's beliefs and kept it hidden from him. Set nineteen years before the novel Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One, the story focuses on the events surrounding the murder of Darth Plagueis the Wise and the ascension of his apprentice to the Sith throne, as well as the new Dark Lord's desire to prevent the birth of Annikin Skywalker. The story also emphasizes the end of the former friendship of Ussej Padric Bac and Plagueis—formerly Jedi Grandmaster Damien Nightblade. The story was first published on Star Wars Fanon, the Star Wars wiki of fan invention, on February 28, 2010. This release was the result of Rhea removing the original version of the story from the prologue of The Chosen One, as he believed that it did not properly fit with the rest of the novel's story. An extended version of the short story was released nearly a month later on March 20, featuring new scenes and an expanded exploration of the characters. The work was edited by Alternative Saga contributor Susan "Solus" Donnam, who also provided the cover art. Reviews for The Tragedy have been favorable, and it was voted to featured work status on Star Wars Fanon. During the meeting, the Grandmaster was able to convince the reluctant Supreme Chancellor to attempt to hold off a Republic counterattack against the Alsakans. Despite this, she was concerned that she would not be successful, as her military advisers were already planning to attack the Alsakans and wanted to avenge the loss of the capital. She did, however, support Kelrada's attempts. In the days that followed, Kelrada met with Lharra, the Vicar of the Alsakan Union, and persuaded her to end the war, but she was assassinated by her own advisers who wished to prevent the conflict's end. The Jedi Order was implicated in the assassination, and the Order's efforts to prevent further conflict failed. Utilized most prominently by the Galactic Empire and its successor, the Imperial Remnant, the Conqueror I-class Star Destroyer was considered the ultimate arbiter of space combat by military leaders during the time it was in production; millions of tons of reinforced durasteel, internal braces, and dozens of gun batteries that held only what Umbriel Research and Development believed it was the best and most advanced weaponry it had created. All of it was dedicated to the exclusive purpose of projecting massive amounts of debilitating firepower against any target and effectively defending against another vessel of similar or greater ability. Despite the design's practical effectiveness as a vessel of war to the Imperial Remnant, it was considered more effective as a psychological weapon by Grand Admiral Thrawn. As the Conqueror I-class was used extensively and very successfully on numerous campaigns by the Imperial Remnant, this resulted in the design gaining an almost legendary reputation of invincibility and indomitable power among the New Republic Defense Force, despite the fact that at least several ships of the class were destroyed by the New Republic and Yuuzhan Vong at several battles. Conqueror I-class vessels were the largest of their type at the time it was in production, and they were heavily armed with weaponry that the galaxy had never seen prior to Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaigns. They also held a predatory appearance and reputation; the Conqueror I-class Star Destroyer were often referred to as Imperial Death Dealers among New Republic and Yuuzhan Vong navy personnel, as well as the End of the World by many infantry soldiers. Due to their large size and the large amount of resources necessary to construct a single vessel, however, the design was very expensive to build; merely constructing four of the ships could bankrupt the defense forces of an average world. This ensured that those who did possess one or more of these ships usually kept them in reserve for only the most important engagements, as building another was simply too costly for forces who could even afford one in the first place. The Grandmaster met with her shortly thereafter in the Jedi Enclave on Ossus, and he convinced her to end the war. Her handlers, however, were Alsakan extremists who were determined to see the war through to an Alsakan victory. They murdered their own leader and sent out a message to their government implicating the Jedi in the crime. They then flew their shuttle into the Jedi Enclave, killing thirty-one Jedi. The assassination of Lharra led to the ascension of Van Tien to the post of interim leader of the Alsakan Union. He later killed himself during an assassination attempt against him. The bombing also triggered Kelrada to call a conclave on Ossus to determine the Order's next course of action. After arguments between different Jedi, a Jedi Master was found dead the next morning and Kelrada was falsely implicated. This gave rise to the Ospion Guardians and, eventually, the Dark Jedi of the Bogan. The Spire was a mountain on Coruscant that was given to the Jedi via the Galactic Republic. The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was the home of the Order's major training, educational, dormitory, war command and archival facilities. It housed the Jedi Library, the Jedi Council chambers, the four Councils comprised of the Council of First Knowledge, Reassignment Council, Council of Reconciliation and the Jedi High Council, the Republic Defense Space Force Headquarters, the Jedi Homing Beacon and several other functions. The Temple was used for the incarceration of criminal beings, primarily the Sith. It was partially destroyed in the First Jedi Purge in 3,954 BBY, during the Sacking of Coruscant in 3,653 BBY and during the Great Galactic War in 17 BBY. After the Republic Judicial Forces defeated a Yinchorri battle fleet in orbit of the planet, the Jedi strike team landed on the planet and entered the base. They took the Yinchorri High Command into custody once inside, effectively ending the war. However, an additional Yinchorri battle cruiser arrived in orbit once the infiltration was finished, downing the Republic cruiser Acceptance. The Acceptance crash-landed on the planet, during which time the crew of Radiant VII, including Captain Maoi Madakor, were taken hostage by the remaining Yinchorri forces. The surviving crew of the Acceptance, led by Lieutenant Antidar Williams, rescued the hostages and returned to Coruscant. The following year, having been chosen due to their successful actions during the battle, Madakor and Williams ferried two Jedi ambassadors to Utapau, where the Jedi would attempt to end the Trade Federation blockade of the planet. The Jedi Order was founded in 11,374 BBY, during the reign of the Galactic Republic, and it maintained operations throughout the remainder of the Republic's tenure. The Jedi Order also spawned the dark-sided orders of the Sith and the Dark Crusaders. The Jedi Order derived from the Ashta Matha Order, an ancient Tythonian based organization that formed from an agreement between Republic soldiers and Tythonian monks. The Order, then called the Ashta Matha Monks, renamed itself the Jedi Order after the liberation campaign the Knights used to free many worlds. The Order moved to Ossus after a conflict between the Dark Crusaders and the Jedi resulted in the tainted destruction of their monastery. Several millennia later, in 3,996 BBY, the Jedi relocated to Coruscant after the destruction of Ossus at the hands of the Sith forces. The Jedi Order went through four periods of near annihilation at the hands of the Sith, almost being eliminated during the Great Schism, First Jedi Purge, Sacking of Coruscant, and Great Galactic War. Planned initially as a raid on a supply base and intended to demonstrate that the invading Sith Empire was not invincible, it involved distracting the Sith military with a small-scale attack on a shipyard in the Roche asteroids prior to the main thrust on the Zabrak homeworld of Iridonia. The ground assault, conducted by the 3rd Marine Battalion under Captain Laera Reyolé, initially met with little resistance, quickly securing the facility and driving most of its staff and guards into the countryside. As the command center fell, however, a small fleet of Sith warships dropped out of hyperspace directly overhead. The four Interdictor-class cruisers were initially unaware of the Republic presence, as they had originally intended to replenish their stores. Fortunately for the Republic forces on the ground, the task force of Rear Admiral Kedlis Hetton had been stationed behind one of the planet's two moons as a contingency plan. With his warships and starfighters in ambush position, Hetton ordered his task force to attack the rear flank of the Sith formation while the two Aurek squadrons that had been assigned to combat aerospace patrol assaulted the vanguard. The Republic and the Jedi Order entered into a war against the planet Yinchorr and the Yinchorri High Command. Williams, the lead pilot on the cruiser Acceptance, was tasked with supporting a Jedi strike team that would capture the High Command during the Battle of Uhanayih. The events of the battle, namely Antidar successfully crash landing the damaged Acceptance on the planet and rescuing the crew of the Radiant VII from Yinchorri hostage takers, earned him the Chancellor's Service Medal. Williams returned to civilian life for one year before being asked by Captian Maoi Madakor of the Radiant VII to serve as her co-pilot during an ambassadorial transport mission to the Trade Federation-blockaded Utapau in 22 BBY. Set up through intelligence gained by the Galactic Republic in the wake of a data raid on Sernpidal, the plan involved luring the fleet of Darth Revan and Darth Malak into battle over Ord Mantell. Trapping the Sith fleet there with the Interdictor-class cruiser Battleaxe, a force of Republic Navy Hammerhead-class cruisers and Foray-class frigates under the command of Vice Admiral Forn Dodonna would engage in a holding action while the Sith force would be subjected to the battle meditation of Padawan Bastila Shan. Meanwhile a force of Republic Army troopers led by Marine Captain Laera Reyolé, accompanied by more Jedi Knights, would board Darth Revan's flagship and capture him. The battle erupted when the Republic fleet decanted from hyperspace behind the loitering Sith formation. Though Admiral Dodonna's force possessed more capital ships, her Aurek fighters were greatly outnumbered. Undaunted, the attacking vessels swiftly overpowered the trailing Sith warship, destroying it and carving a wedge through the enemy lines. Captain Reyolé's troops and Jedi were then cleared for launch; escorted by elements of the three Aurek squadrons, they boarded Revan's vessel and began to wreak havoc amongst the crew as the platoon split up into three squads. Heavy fighting ensued both in space and aboard the flagship, with Reyolé eventually ordering the platoon to fall back and regroup. Shan pressed on however, cornering Darth Revan on the bridge. Darth Malak, sensing what was going on, opened fire on the vessel, damaging it severely and nearly killing both Revan and Shan. She was, however, able to save the Sith Lord's life, rendezvousing with Captain Reyolé's platoon in order to escape the dying warship. The surviving members of the boarding party made their way back to the retreating fleet as the divided Sith force continued to attack itself. With the battle won the Jedi took Revan and, after healing his body, sent him out into the galaxy along with Shan in order to find the means to stop the Sith war effort. This eventually led to the discovery and destruction of the Star Forge, at the height of the last battle of the war. As the war erupted with the attack on the Republic Navy depot at Foerost, Terep seized control of Wrangler for himself when the warship's captain hesitated upon learning of the mission's parameters. For the next three years of the conflict Terep operated independently, placing his ship along contested galactic hyperlanes in order to interdict passing convoys. However, his attempts met with limited success, often forcing him to withdraw from battle. These actions culminated in a skirmish in the Upestis system against a small Republic force let by Padawan Bastila Shan and her battle meditation. In the wake of this battle Terep began attacking his crew in frustration, eventually succumbing to a mutiny led by Josef Farfax and Secar Dunnigal, two of Wranger's senior officers. He served loyally under Don Jirebon Trapani, the founder of the Trapani Family, for over five decades. Born in A-City on the world of Anon, Seter was struck by disaster early in his childhood years after both of his parents suffered and subsequently died from an immunity deficiency virus. Seter briefly lived in an orphanage before being adopted by the parents of Hyram Darden, with whom he became best friends. Together, the two entered a life of crime by working under Don Nikola Georg of the Georg Crime Family within the Human Mafia, a criminal syndicate. They recruited Jirebon Trapani into the criminal empire, though Trapani soon discovered that Georg was a police informant and killed him. After a brief war with the Georg Family, during which Seter assassinated the new Don, Sven Nikola Georg, Trapani, Darden, and Seter emerged victorious and claimed control over all of Anon's criminal underworld. Trapani then founded the Trapani Crime Family and named Seter as one of his caporegimes, or captains. Two years later, the Trapani Family leadership decided to further expand to the planet Romin, where they formed a shaky alliance with the Mangani Family. Seter was then promoted to underboss and led a war against the Felip Family for control over the world. Don Trapani subsequently assigned Seter and his protege, Deimos Percival, the task of going to Falleen and assassinating Lord Jefair Tabris. The two men succeeded in their mission, though Seter was captured. She was born into a political family on Pantora in 13,014 BBY; she was the daughter of Taibo Hoshiko, a prominent planetary leader, which led her to studying for and pursuing a career in law as a practicing attorney. Hoshiko became a member of the Pantoran Assembly in 12,988 BBY, giving her local political experience. She was appointed Galactic Senator of Pantora in 12,985 BBY. Her seven years in the Galactic Senate saw her push for a number of reforms for Mid Rim taxation and, during the Hutt War, the Galactic Republic military's command structure. Following the assassination of her political mentor, former Supreme Chancellor Alcor Bac, and the incapacitation of sitting Chancellor Jamall Mohatu, Hoshiko led a meeting of a Galactic Senate committee discussing the attack. The children of the late former Chancellor, Ahdam Bac and Analia Bac, endorsed Hoshiko as the next Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic. She was elected to the Chancellery the next day and spoke about the need for recovery and renewal in her inaugural address. Discovered in 3,994 BBY, it was situated on an old Taris-based hyperspace route. The planet itself proved to be unremarkable save for its close proximity to a significant number of strategic shipping lanes. An arid, post-garden world with little native life and few resources that were worth exploiting, it was generally unheard-of among most beings within the Galactic Republic. However, because of its position in the sector, the Republic Military saw it as an ideal place to set up a frontier garrison. In the years after the Great Sith War, the Republic Marines sent a company of troopers from the 21st Marine Battalion there, later supported by the 5th Marine Starfighter Squadron. The planet was the site of one of the first battles of the Mandalorian Wars, a skirmish which helped to propel the career of Marine officer Laera Reyolé. Many centuries after the conflict the planet, which had been all but forgotten, was rediscovered by a group of smugglers. Bad Alshir then became a remote refuge for those fleeing from the Galactic Empire or other agents, such as bounty hunters, throughout the time of the Galactic Civil War and afterward. It played a major role in the years prior to the fall of the Old Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire. It was known for its artistic similarity to its neighbor Naboo, but it too possessed a military bent courtesy of the Mandalorians, and the earlier Taungs, who had colonized the planet. Populated by both the jet black-skinned, red-eyed Acroyali and the descendants of the Mandalorians, the planet was proud of its history while shunning others that they viewed to be "uncultured" or "uncivilized." For this reason, Acrolian civilization was considered by numerous Human and non-Human societies to be xenophobic in nature. However, its longstanding government, the Acrolian Star Empire, was respected for its ability to uphold the warlike culture of Acrolis while spreading peace and stability to the surrounding planets. The Acrolian culture, though initially despised by conquered peoples, was eventually embraced for the stability it provided. The planet rarely experienced a regime change, remaining a republic and, later, an empire for many thousands of years with uninterrupted success and stability. The planet was also one of the few that successfully resisted invasion during the many galactic conflicts of the Old Republic and Imperial years, into the era of the One Sith. He enlisted in the Marine Corps under the name "Gand" some years prior to the Great Sith War, as at the time, he had not yet earned his identity. Despite having little knowledge of Basic at the outset of his training, Tuffass learned quickly enough so that by the time he graduated from boot camp, his language skills were as good as his fellow Human recruits. Further training gave him a proficiency with explosives and his prior findsman training served him as an uncanny recon scout. Having achieved the rank of corporal by the onset of Exar Kun's war, Tuffass was deployed with the 4th Marine Division's 12th Marine Regiment. During the war's final battle at Yavin 4, the as-yet-nameless Gand served as a fire-coordinator for his battalion. He lost his left arm and leg in a surprise counterattack on the landing zone by a group of Massassi warriors. Though grievously wounded, he insisted on continuing to call in strikes, which earned him the Distinguished Service Order for bravery, in addition to the Crimson Cross. After he had regenerated his arm and leg and learned of his commanding officer's remark, the Gand was promoted to sergeant and requested that he formally be allowed to use the moniker "Tuffass" as a name. This was granted and Tuffass continued in his service with an increase in aggression that stemmed from his time on Yavin 4. Promoted to gunnery sergeant five years after the war's end, his aggressive tendencies served him when he began a long and productive—if highly notorious—career as a drill instructor at the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot on Corulag. His methods were considered so infamous by the Marines and civilians, that his name was known even outside of the Corps; by the time Laera Reyolé was able to enlist, she knew of his reputation as well, after she had examined every available piece of literature on the Marine Corps. Laera was assigned to Tuffass's training platoon, where she was forced to "earn" her name back in the eyes of the sergeant. Starting from 3,978 BBY and continuing for the next ten years, Tuffass was transferred to the recruit depot on Carida, where he continued to train recruits before his return to Corulag and resumption of his career there. For three years during that time, he served alongside Reyolé, who had in turn been elevated to gunnery sergeant and spent this time training her own recruits. In 3,942 BBY, Tuffass was forced by age and failing health to retire. He took up residence on Corulag, not far from the training depot. During his retirement, he would often frequent the local post of the Veterans of Galactic Wars, where he and other retired service personnel would trade war stories. Tuffass died of old age in 3,920 BBY and was given a funeral on Corulag with full military honors. The boot camp at the training depot would eventually come to be informally known as "Tuffass Class." It used unicameral legislation to create and enforce laws. The body was made up of a Supreme Chancellor and a group of Senators that represented thousands of sectors. Three branches comprised the galactic government: the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branch. All three branches had checks against the others to prevent one branch from rising above the others in power. The Republic went through three periods of reorganization: 1,000 BBY, 17 BBY and 8 BBY. The Republic was formed after the Unification Wars which resulted from the power vacuum left by the Infinite Empire. The initial members of the Republic were Core Worlds and Colonies, however, it slowly expanded eastward over the next twenty-five millennia. The Republic suffered many conflicts over the course of its reign, including many between the Jedi Order and the Dark Crusaders, a former entity of the Jedi. The Republic chose to disband its military under the orders of Supreme Chancellor Tarsus Valorum in 1,000 BBY, as part of the Ruusan Reformations. It was initiated with the belief that it would reduce the amount of wars endured by the galaxy and to promote the government's belief in peaceful resolutions. The battle occurred soon after the Battle under Culor, even though the Gevorian army hadn't fully recovered from their loss. Before the battle began, the Maynian government drafted a law that permitted them to brand their prisoners of war. This caused the Gevorians to attempt to rescue the prisoners, which eventually resulted in the Battle of Belaham. During the Gevorian army's first strike, they were overpowered by the Maynian army's remaining heavy weapons. Under orders from Jacen Gevorian, the army fled back into the Lahari forest where they set up an ambush. At that time, the head of the Maynian army, Syle Torrav, ordered a large group to go in after them. This group was led by General Louis Ottug. The attack killed several Maynian soldiers, while the rest surrendered and were taken prisoner. The Gevorians then attacked the Maynian stronghold and were able to overpower the city's defenses, which resulted in the capture of Syle Torrav and a Gevorian victory. The battle concluded the planet's civil war. Days after the battle, Jacen Gevorian and his daughter, Lara, left the planet. Jacen Gevorian's son, Jacen Gevorian II took the title of Grad and ruled Maynus under a monarchy. His first act as Grad was the banishment or execution of the Maynian forces. Belaham remained the capitol due to its defenses. Planned as a hit-and-fade operation by Marine captain and Jedi Padawan Laera Reyolé, the attack involved the 23rd Marine and 52nd Navy Starfighter Squadrons executing a two-pronged infiltration of the outer layers of the Roche system's asteroid belt, after which they successfully attacked and neutralized the facility, along with a battle-damaged Interdictor-class cruiser and an escort of several Sith interceptors. With local space temporarily clear of enemy forces, the two Republic squadrons made good their escape, jumping to hyperspace in order to rendezvous with the task force under the command of Rear Admiral Kedlis Hetton. Though the raid itself was intended as a minor diversion, it provided a morale boost for the soldiers, officers, and pilots of Hetton's force, which included the Marines' Third Battalion. In addition, it provided necessary battle experience for the starfighter units involved. This was a contributing factor to the success of the victory won at the Zabrak homeworld of Iridonia, which led to the successful defense of Rodia and the Republic counteroffensive that would follow. Tobonne, a Human male from Anaxes and a graduate of the Republic Naval Academy, spent his early career serving aboard warships patrolling the Outer Rim of the Republic. After receiving command of his own cruiser, the Wayrunner, he spent three years rooting out and subduing pirates and slavers along the frontier. During the course of these missions, he used his knowledge of warships to devise ways to organize and train his ship's security personnel, so that they would be more effective in other areas of combat. Upon his promotion to Commodore, he and his staff began to develop special equipment and tactics for use by Navy personnel in situations similar to those which he had encountered while commanding the Wayrunner. When Tobonne was promoted to Rear Admiral in 5,006 BBY, he began advocating for the formation of a Marine Corps, an autonomous service branch that would fill the gap between the Navy and the Republic Army. As he envisioned it, the Corps would use the tactics that Tobonne had developed during his years of pirate-hunting on the Rim. His vision, enacted at the height of the Great Hyperspace War, would help to preserve and protect the Republic from then until the adoption of the Ruusan Reformation. Her Force ability manifested at an early age when she was able to feel the emotions and mental state of her parents, Chandrilan rescue workers stationed on the disaster-devastated Humbarine. At the age of seven—while doing relief work with her parents—she was discovered by a Jedi Knight and brought to Coruscant to be trained. She was a Jedi Knight during the Great Galactic War. During the war, she was rescued by Scott Borek in the midst of battle and later treated. She developed "feelings" for him as a result of the one-way bond that formed. She expressed these feelings nearly a year after they formed, but the male Jedi declined her advances. In spite of this, she suspected that he was attracted to her as well but relented in her pursuit of him. Her exposure on many different worlds caused her to become as well-known as her comrades Scott Borek, Yoder Gree, and Mason Quarrell. She was known for her emotional behavior and ability to read others' emotions and psychological states. She was an able fighter, although she preferred to use her expertise in negotiation. Unlike most Jedi, she openly expressed her desires. Most of the time, her body language and facial expressions exposed how and what she was feeling at that moment. He served as a commander of men and manager of finances under the criminal organization's founder, Don Jirebon Trapani, loyally for over four decades, eventually becoming one of the most notorious criminals in the galaxy for his time, according to later historians. Born in 4,013 BBY in A-City on the world of Anon, Darden lived modestly with his impoverished family during the Mid-Rim Depression. During his teenage years, Darden found and later convinced his family to adopt an orphan Myron Seter, whom Darden quickly became best friends with. As a means of going from rags to riches, the two began a life of crime, recruiting Jirebon Trapani after joining and beginning to work under Don Nikola Georg of the Georg Crime Family. They successfully conducted several smuggling runs for Georg, earning a sizable profit. However, the three soon killed Georg after they discovered he was an undercover informant for the Anon Police Force. After a brief war with the Georg Family, in which Darden killed Don Georg's son and successor, Sven Nikola Georg, Trapani founded the Trapani Crime Family and named Darden as one of his two caporegimes. Fortunately for him, a smuggler named Meridan picked him up and brought him home. He took the name Ximus, and for the next twenty years of his life he helped Meridan with his job. Soon he became dissatisfied, and began to pursue a carreer as a bounty hunter. He was successful, in part because he was Force-sensitive, and in part because the amount of bounties placed during the Great Galactic War was high. Even after the Treaty of Coruscant the bounties were still high. It was only after the Jedi and Republic soldiers came back and crushed the Sith Empire that the bounties disappeared. Ximus blamed the Jedi and returned to Nar Shaddaa. There he met Ne-Rei Dis, a dark Jedi Sith apprentice. She sensed that he had a Force connection, and that he had much darkness within him. She took him to Korriban where he began to train under Darth Vesanus. As he grew stronger he became eager to kill a Jedi with his new Sith powers. His master found this amusing and denied Ximus the chance for, what seemed to Ximus, a long time. He trained for five more years before Vesanus finally allowed him the chance to kill a Jedi. He traveled to a monastery where he engaged Jedi Master Karbacca. They fought long, but Ximus triumphed and killed the Wookiee. He then took his ship to Ilum, slaughtered the few Jedi Knights there, and built himself a lightsaber of his own. For a long while Ximus trained and advanced at a faster pace than Ne-Rei Dis, eventually passing her. After five years, he was acknowledged as being Darth Ximus. He then set off in search of an apprentice, one that long proved unsuccessful. Finally, he visited Tatooine. On the desert world he found a Human male named Uzlagna, a Force-sensitive that was already using some of his powers. Darth Ximus took him back to Korriban and the pair began to train. They trained for a long while but Darth Vesanus kept them from hunting a Jedi. Ximus, however, overheard him talking of a Jedi one night and took Uzlagna with him to Kashyyyk where Vesanus had said the Jedi was. They massacred many Wookiees and killed the Jedi there, but they suffered Vesanus' displeasure when they returned. Ximus later went to recruit the Massassi to Vesanus' cause, fighting them before he was able to recruit them through negotiation. Vesanus wanted to lead an assault on Coruscant, but Uzlagna declared it foolish. Ximus however, tricked Vesanus into going, something that led to Vesanus' death. For a year Ximus prepared and made Uzlagna a Darth and his heir if anything went wrong, then Ximus attacked the Republic. His conquest advanced quickly, but he was attacked and soon pushed back. He fought his final battle on Korriban, in 3,617 BBY, when he died. Often referred to as the "Coruscant of the Outer Rim" for its moon-wide cityscapes, Magna Luna became a place of corruption, for all the outcasts of Acrolian society were banished to the moon's surface. Over time, the moon became the planet Acrolis's main spaceport and gateway to the galaxy as all transports and would-be tourists landed first at the moon before boarding one of three ferries to the planet's surface. As many young Acroyali yearned for adventure and the excitement of Magna Luna's numerous casinos, the moon saw an influx in the amount of Acroyali present in the population. The moon's security was tight, and no crimes were left unpunished. Though terrorism occurred occasionally on Magna Luna, primarily during the Clone Wars, the Acrolian Star Empire's control over the moon was strong enough to restore the peace almost instantaneously. However, with a Confederacy of Independent Systems' attack towards the end of the War, the moon and its massive spaceport were damaged but were soon repaired. He was trained in secret by Darth Malgus as a weapon that Malgus could use against the Sith Emperor or the Dark Council if the need were to arise. Several months prior to the Sacking of Coruscant, Fey-an Nore killed his first Jedi, Master Atok Mar. Mar had led a Republic strike force into an ambush. There his fleet was destroyed, and he was killed by the Sith apprentice. Fey-an Nore then participated in the Sacking of Coruscant and the destruction of the Jedi Temple, after which he received the title Darth and his Sith name. Vesanus spied on the Jedi and warned his master that they would rise again, but Malgus paid no heed. Soon thereafter, the Jedi and Republic troops restarted the war, but it ended not long after it began. Unfortunately for Vesanus and his master, the war ended before the two of them could put their plans for seizing power in motion. Worse for Vesanus, Malgus died in one of the battles at the end of the war. As he fled from Korriban he was attacked by four Jedi, managing to kill three of them. He fled with the fourth, a Jedi Knight named Ne-Rei Dis, who became his first apprentice. They trained for a short time before Vesanus sent her to find him a second apprentice. She brought him a man named Ximus and he trained them both for years. Half a decade later, Ximus became Darth Ximus and was soon followed by Ne-Rei Dis' ascension to Darth Nereis. Darth Ximus soon took a man named Uzlagna as his apprentice, but Vesanus kept them on Korriban to stop the Jedi from discovering them. Ximus disobeyed, and he and Uzlagna massacred Wookiees and a Jedi on Kashyyyk. When they returned, Vesanus beat them for their stupidity and declared that since they now had to speed up their plans, he was taking his third apprentice. He then sent them to recruit the Massassi while he went to Dromund Kaas. There, he found a young man named Incultus, whom he took as his apprentice. When they returned to Korriban, they brought a small fleet of ships and a small army of men loyal to the Sith from Dromand Kaas. Though Uzlagna cautioned against it, Vesanus and Incultus attacked Coruscant in 3,618 BBY, where he was killed. The sole habitable world in the system, it developed no sentient life, which led to it being ignored by the nearby Rakata civilization, though the race did use the planet for weapons testing. After the Rakatan Infinite Empire shattered and fell some time around 27,500 BBY, Relaea was all but forgotten. In 3,655 BBY, Relaea was rediscovered by Galactic Republic personnel from their outpost in the Lehon system a mere three light-years away, but remained uncolonized due to the winds of the planet, which could reach speeds of 450 km/h and were a result of the temperature differences caused by the slow rotation of the planet. Being a world with conditions inhospitable to Humans and not having large deposits of metals, it was generally ignored, though an outpost was built into a mountain to study the climate and geology of the planet. After this establishment was abandoned in 3,651 BBY, Relaea became uninhabited once again. Millennia later, in 8 ABY, a newly formed Imperial splinter faction, the Empire of the Hand, colonized the planet in an effort to provide minerals for the war machine. The only major settlement, Relaea City, was constructed on a plateau surrounded by peaks to shield it from the winds, while a network of underground tunnels, mines and facilities were drilled into the crust. In 15 ABY, a civil war took place on the planet between Imperial loyalists and those seeking separation, which ended with an Imperial victory. However, following the merging of the Empire of the Hand into the Fel Empire, the new rulers abandoned the system, evacuating most of the inhabitants, and the inhabitants that chose to stay had to survive on their own. Born to farmers in 30 BBY, Neal was thrust into the Galactic Civil War when Imperial forces arrived at Dantooine in 0 BBY. While on a hunting trip, his friend, Morris Zenete, betrayed the small farming community Gidra for harboring Rebel spies. Imperial stormtroopers razed the city and searched the nearby woods where Neal and others were hunting. Separated from the rest of the group, Neal encountered a dying farmhand from the settlement. Before dying from his wounds, the farmhand informed him that he had overheard Morris talking to Imperial officers, and that Morris had killed Neal's daughter. Enraged, Neal attempted to return to Gidra to confront Morris but was stopped by the very Rebel spies the Empire was looking for. Though reluctant to join them, Neal left Dantooine with them and quickly joined the Rebellion in order to one day find Morris. While in the employment of the Rebels, Neal served as a spy, hiding amongst farming communities on other planets in order to find Imperial operatives. In 4 ABY, Neal encountered Morris and the two fought. Before Neal could kill him, another Rebel spy stopped the fight and had Morris taken into custody. Willing to give away Imperial information in exchange for protection, Morris was to be transferred to a rebel prison when Neal shot and killed him. Shortly after, Neal would join Han Solo's team bound for the forest moon of Endor, during which he helped Renegade Squadron and Han Solo take down the shield bunker. After the disease struck, the planet had many powers and governments. The Maynians ruled for hundreds of years until their rule was challenged by the Gevorians. After years of war, the Gevorian rebels took control of the planet and ruled under a monarchy. They remained in rule until their leader, Noover Gevorian, was assassinated. The planet was also attacked by an Imperial attack force in 10 BBY due to information Lez Gevorian gave to the Imperials. The planet had many native poisonous plants, such as the hujeep and the lorr. Along with the toxic flora, Maynus also contained Ji'tal grass which covered the majority of the land on the planet. Spindell were among the only fauna on the planet, which included a non-sentient arachnid species known for its highly poisonous bites. The other creatures commonly found on Maynus were loremus, a species of forest rat. Read more… File: Chewbaccaheadshot.jpg Karbacca was a Wookiee Jedi Master born in 3,714 BBY. At the age of two years, he was identified as Force-sensitive and taken by the Jedi for training. He trained for ten years before being apprenticed to Jedi Master Atok Mar. The pair trained for nine years with Karbacca being knighted when he was twenty-one. He helped out at the Temple and went on the occasional mission for five years until he took Kent Star as his apprentice. They trained together for seven years. When Kent was nineteen, the Great Galactic War broke out and he was knighted. He and Karbacca continued to work together for twenty years, but in 3,671 BBY, Kent took Ne-Rei Dis as an apprentice. Karbacca continued to fight the Sith Empire but worked alone from then on. Karbacca was devastated to hear that his master, Atok Mar, had been killed by Sith forces in 3,653 BBY but was even more horrified when, later in that year, the Sith Empire led by Darth Malgus sacked Coruscant and destroyed the Jedi Temple. Even worse, his apprentice, Kent Star, was among the dead from the assault. Karbacca, along with the rest of the Jedi, returned to Tython, where he stayed for just under fifteen years until the Jedi and Republic forces were successful in destroying the Sith Empire. He was once again saddened to hear that Kent's apprentice, Ne-Rei, was lost and presumed dead. Yet, he did not let these events affect him and began taking missions again, continuing in his old fashion for five years. Then, in 3,633 BBY, he was sent on a mission to help monks on Tatooine. There, he was attacked and killed during a duel with Darth Ximus, though he himself did not know the identity of his attacker. By 3,956 BBY, in the declining months of the Jedi Civil War, Leve was assigned as an escort for the Niare, an experimental Galactic Republic Navy warship. He served aboard the Niare for several weeks before ending his assignment and returning to the Enclave on Dantooine. Later, he and fellow Jedi Knight and personal friend Keese Somar were tasked with liberating Anon from Sith occupation. Under Jedi Master Kavar's command, they succeeded, then reported to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for another assignment. He and Somar were then given a new mission: to either capture or kill the Sith Lord Darth Samah. Several weeks later, while undercover on Korriban, Samah captured Leve and turned him to the dark side. Becoming Samah's new apprentice, Leve was challenged to prove his loyalty to the Sith. To do so, he murdered his former master, Marh Nassi, on Romin. This enraged Somar, who swore revenge and began to hunt down Leve and his Sith master. Within the Centrality, after years without action, he began to participate in local politics, eventually being elected the governor of the agricultural Dilonexa system. The initiative succeeded, thus increasing Cohaagen's influence. This led to the Centrality's territorial growth, when it annexed multiple freestanding sectors trailing of Dac. During his career in the Galactic Empire, Cohaagen adopted a direct approach to problems, not afraid of executing harsh moves to regulate renegade planets and systems. He retained this trait in the Centrality as well, sometimes making potentially offensive comments during public appearances. It was partly due to these characteristics that made him unpopular amongst the poorer and anti-Imperial populations in the new Centran holdings. In 25 ABY, Vilos Cohaagen was assassinated during a visit to the colonies. Read more… File:Wroshyr fog.jpg The wroshyr tree was a species of flora native to the Kashyyyk system. First documented on Dantooine, the species of tree was also recorded on far–flung worlds, such as Sarapin. The Kashyyyk system, specifically Kashyyyk, was recognized as the origin of the wroshyr due to petrified remains of a forest of trees that dated as far back as fifty million years. Petrified remains were also witnessed on the colony moon, Alaris Prime, which dated roughly a millennium later. This suggested that a large interstellar collision occurred that separated the two entities. The wroshyr tree, for several millennia, was known as an average-sized tree that had distinctive aerating roots similar to Dagobah's gnarltree. After the introduction of the Kashyyyk system to the known galaxy, the perception of the wroshyr was radically changed. The Kashyyyk variant grew kilometers upon kilometers tall and had the capacity to provide shelter to thousands of Wookiees. Unsure of why the wroshyr grew so large on Kashyyyk and, to a lesser extent, Alaris Prime, Republic scientists hypothesized that the Wookiee wroshyr had a much longer lifespan and suffered from climate change and deforestation significantly less than its varieties on Dantooine and Sarapin. However, it was revealed that Rakatan terraforming technology manipulated the growth of the trees. Thousands of years later, the Sarapin breed became extinct during an event on the planet that annihilated all life on the world. The planet was consumed by lava flows, ash and noxious gases. Examples of the subspecies were preserved once the ash and gas settled. Also, to prevent the Dantooinian breed from destroying the ecosystem, government officials placed tight restrictions on the plant to control its growth. Wookiee tree cities were created within large forests of trees. The Wookiees would carve into the bark and make the hollowed trees their homes while branches would serve as thoroughfares between trees. Kachirho and Rwookrrorro were well–known tree cities built into the wroshyr tree. She was taken as an infant from Glee Anselm after a Jedi on a diplomatic mission to the planet sensed her Force-sensitivity, and she was brought to the Jedi Temple. At age twelve, Kent Star took her as his Padawan learner, and the pair went on many missions during the Great Galactic War until Ne-Rei was knighted seven years later at age nineteen, due to her advanced skills and the need for new Jedi. One year later, the Sacking of Coruscant occurred, and she fled with the other surviving Jedi to Tython, but her master was found dead in the wreckage along with his killer’s severed leg. Eventually the Jedi and Republic mounted a counter-attack on the Sith Empire, catching them off guard and the Republic was soon victorious. During an assault on Korriban led by Ne-Rei and three other Jedi, they sensed a Force presence aboard a fleeing ship. The four Jedi boarded along with some Republic soldiers and capture the ship, loosing all of the soldiers in the process. The four Jedi confronted Darth Vesanus, and Ne-Rei realized he was the one who had killed her master, the Force allowing her recognizing his prosthetic leg as matching the leg found by the dead body of her master. Vesanus picked the other three off, then he gave her twisted truths making the Jedi seem responsible for her master’s death and tempted her with using her anger to kill him. She gave in, but he defeated her regardless. He took her as his Sith apprentice, and they fled to Nal Hutta where they trained before heading to Yavin 4 where she battled the spirits of the ancient Sith and fought terentateks. They finally returned to Korriban and trained there until she was sent to find another apprentice for Vesanus in 3,638 BBY. She found Ximus in a bar and brought him to Vesanus, where they began to train. However, Ximus began to take the spotlight away from Ne-Rei, until in 3,626 BBY, Ximus became a Sith Lord, while she remained an apprentice of Vesanus. She was finally named Darth Nereis by Vesanus in 3,622 BBY. She remained on Korriban, sharpening her skills until Ximus and his apprentice Uzlagna disobeyed Vesanus and revealed themselves to the Republic and the Jedi by slaughtering Wookiees and a Jedi on Kashyyyk in 3,619 BBY. Vesanus then uncovered a fleet and army of Sith loyalists, which he named the Furian Empire. To add to that, Ximus recruited the Massassi and they all prepared to attack Coruscant until Uzlagna and Ximus declared Vesanus too old to lead the attack. Furious, he left the two behind while everyone else attacked. The Republic and the Jedi fought them off with ease, destroying Vesanus and his fleet. Nereis, who had taken troops to the surface was attacked by Jedi and Republic soldiers, whom she could fight off but she was weakened and pushed back. Furiously, she realized that she had failed in her efforts, but before she could use her new anger, she was struck down and killed. Eleven years later, Karbacca selected Kent to be his apprentice. Although Kent could not speak Shyriiwook, his master could understand and write in Basic as well as communicate telepathically. He eventually learned Shyriiwook as well as the other skills of the Jedi, working as a master-apprentice team for seven years. Then, when Star was eighteen years old—in 3,681 BBY—the Sith Empire attacked the Republic, starting the Great Galactic War. Due to the need for new Jedi and Karbacca's assurance that he was ready enough, Kent was promoted to Jedi Knight. He and his master fought together in the war on the front lines until 3,661 BBY, when Kent found a youngling whom he wanted to train: the female Nautolan Ne-Rei Dis. He took her as his apprentice and left his master to train her. While they both missed each other, they both accepted it was for the best. He trained Ne-Rei for seven years, and when she was nineteen, Star believed she was ready. With no sight of the end of the war near, the Council knighted her due to the continuous need for Jedi, Star's belief and the fact that they also considered her skilled. With her knighting, he attained the rank of Jedi Master. He fought alone for one year, but in 3,653 BBY, the Sith attacked Coruscant. He fought the Sith in the Jedi Temple and was trapped inside a collapsed room. He was able to cut his way out but came across a Sith while making his way towards the exit. The pair fought each other, and though he was able to cut off his opponent's leg, Star was killed. When Uzlagna was only five, his parents were killed accidentally by a Jedi in a bar fight. For the next ten years of his life he lived on Tatooine, scrounging and stealing, and learning to use his Force-sensitivity. In 3,626 BBY, he was found by Ximus in a bar where he was recruited to his and, by extension, Darth Vesanus' cause. He returned to Korriban with his master and trained for seven years. He and his master disliked being cooped up on Korriban, so they defied a specific order of Darth Vesanus and went to Kashyyyk where they massacred Wookiees and killed a Jedi. Upon their return, they were beaten by Vesanus, but Uzlagna did not mind. He and Ximus were sent to recruit the Massassi to Vesanus' cause, while the Sith Lord went to get himself a third apprentice. Ximus and Uzlagna fought with the Massassi on Yavin IV, but managed to stop the attack and negotiate an agreement. When Vesanus returned, not only did he have a new apprentice but an entire fleet and army at his command. After picking up his allied Massassi warriors, he proclaimed that he was going to attack Coruscant. Uzlagna immediately declared it folly, but Ximus managed to convince Vesanus to attack and to leave him and Uzlagna behind. They soon received word of his defeat and death, making Ximus the Lord of the Furian Empire, the name of Vesanus' army. They waited for a year, and during that time, Uzlagna was made a Sith Lord, allowing for the use of the name Darth Uzlagna. After the year, Ximus attacked the Outer Rim worlds, but the Republic quickly swept in and once again defeated the Furian Empire, killing Ximus on Korriban. After torturing captured Republic soldiers, Uzlagna learned of Ximus' death and fled to Dromund Kaas, where he began bribing men to join his cause. For twenty years, he bought or otherwise convinced men to join the Furian Empire, rallying them behind a symbol as something less abstract as the idea of the empire itself. After twenty years, he prepared to attack. However, three Jedi who had crashed on the planet came to his home and asked for help. He agreed to let them stay the night and while they were asleep, he traveled to the main settlement. He picked up a set of black armor and told his men to be ready. Upon his return, he found the three Jedi dead and a man waiting for him. The two had a lightsaber duel, ending with the man draining the life energy out of Uzlagna. The Sith Lord's attacker crushed Uzlagna's armor, killing him. Separate from the Republic Army, soldiers who served in the Republic Marines were considered by historians to be among the best-trained and best-equipped troops that the Galactic Republic could field. Generally organized into regimental- or battalion-sized units, depending on the era, Marines would often see a wider range of duties than their counterparts in the Army, including garrisoning remote outpost worlds, serving on warships, or protecting embassies and other governmental posts. Aside from their primary combat and ceremonial guard units, the Corps possessed two major sub-branches: the Marine Aerospace Wings, which was made up of several fighter wings of starfighters that were utilized for everything from close air support to raiding enemy installations, and a dedicated intelligence and special operations branch, the Republic Marine Force Reconnaissance companies. Other, minor units of the Corps included the Marine Corps Band and the Red Gundarks flight demonstration team. Founded by Admiral Sakira Tobonne, an experienced Navy officer who had been successful in guarding the borders of the Republic from pirates and slavers, the Marine Corps served with distinction in many of the galaxy's fiercest and most widespread conflicts. Beginning with the Great Hyperspace War and continuing through the time of the New Sith Wars, they were regarded as an important arsenal in the Republic's armed forces throughout their history. The Corps eventually grew to a core strength of thirty-six combat battalions and thirty-seven starfighter squadrons before they were disbanded along with most of the rest of the military. Refusing to become a part of the Judicial Department that had been created to take their place, most Marines instead became mercenaries; though they still held to the traditions of the Corps, they lacked the infrastructure to maintain themselves and gradually faded into obscurity. However, their tactics and doctrine would be resurrected during the Clone Wars by the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, with the formation of the Galactic Marines. Originally a buffer state, it evolved into a dependency of the Galactic Republic before achieving independence in 22 BBY, during the Clone Wars. After the conflict was resolved, the Galactic Empire that succeeded the Republic maintained good relations with it, funding its fleet and army of hundreds of warships and twenty million soldiers. However, the Empire's fragmentation in 4 ABY brought about economic depression and subsequent demilitarization. This, combined with the interest in the region's mineral wealth, saved the Centrality from collapse but made it dependent on foreign corporations. During Vilos Cohaagen's ministering, the government took steps to nationalize key companies and reduce the state's economic vulnerability. The period also saw the revitalized army seize the two independent sectors spinward of the Centrality, though the colonization ended in 30 ABY and the government would focus on economic reforms in the following period. Initially being a democracy, the Centrality's devolution in the post-Endor recession expanded the power of the government, and by Cohaagen's time, slave labor and military repercussions were common. Following the minister's assassination in 25 ABY, the authority of the state was reduced, as the leaders feared that continuing the old standard would trigger a New Republic intervention. The Centrality continued to vegetate until 130 ABY, when the resurgent Empire annexed the government. He was born on Tython in 957 ABY and became the Padawan of Jedi Knight Jayda Hal. After a number of years, Cordatus was promoted to Jedi Knight after training in the ways of a Jedi Guardian, despite his stronger proficiency for the reception and interpretation of visions and dreams. In 981 ABY, Cordatus was part of a Jedi team that assisted Imperial forces in rescuing the princess of Oro Prime, a planet that had been involved in a decade-long feud with the nearby world of Ardos. Cordatus was able to rescue the princess from her Ardosian captors, but he inadvertently triggered an explosion that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and a war between the two Imperial worlds. After a year-long exile for his actions, Cordatus chose to become a Jedi Sage and studied under Sage Master Errand Khoss. He was elevated to the level of Jedi Master and taught a number of classes in the Sage Halls of Empress Teta before becoming one of the leaders of the Sage Halls. Khoss later died and was succeeded by Bratak Dar, who later disappeared in Imperial space. Cordatus interpreted visions and disturbances in the Force to mean that the Sith had returned and assumed control of the Empire, and, when he was proven correct and Dar did not return, was elected to the High Council and became Sage Master. Cordatus served as a High Council member for a number of years. In 1,011 ABY, he received a vision that the Sith were finally preparing to launch a war against the Galactic Alliance and the Jedi, allowing the Council and the Galactic Congress to prepare for war. After the resignation of Chief of State Valafar Lamartine, Cordatus became interim Chief of State of the Alliance, an office he held until a new Chief of State was elected. Following the bombing of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and the departure of Grand Master Lecchamemnon, Cordatus became Grand Master of the Jedi. He grew up as a nobleman of the Intendant Caste, and he became a member of the Yuuzhan'tar Council at a very young age. He was known to have worked with many Sith, including Derech Palpatine, Darth Ominous, and Palpatine, for he had a tolerance for the Force not shared by many members of his species. He prophesied falsely that the dark side of the Force was a manifestation of the life-bringing powers of the god Yun-Yuuzhan and manipulated the Yuuzhan Vong religion to be more Force-accepting. He did not actually believe in the Vong gods, rather, he used the Vong religion to his advantage, as Supreme Overlord, he was claimed to be a "Mortal Son of the Gods" and was said to be a prophet. To further manipulate the religion, he took the title of Most High Priest, along with all his other titles. Early on, he told the Vong a "prophecy" he had had that forced them to accept the Sith into their lives. Yuuzhan'rarr was also known as a "warrior king," as he often went on missions by himself, and had the title of Warmaster, as well as Supreme Overlord and Most High Priest. This led to his death in 10 ABY, when he charged into battle against Mara Jade and Ferus Olin. Read more… File:Incom logo.jpg Incom Corporation was a spacecraft manufacturer based out of Fresia. Incom, borne out of Incom Industries—a planetary air defense and aerospace supplier—was a defense firm launched galactically in 2,000 BBY. Staunch Republic loyalists, they produced security and patrol craft for the government's security agencies. One such craft was the critically acclaimed and publicly popular T-47 airspeeder. The craft was renowned for its capabilities and specialization in the anti-piracy and cargo carrier fields. Another popular security ship produced was the Z-95 Headhunter, which became the model for later starfighter craft. The Z-95 served in the Great Galactic War and was known by its handlers as a durable, yet sluggish straight-line craft. Shifting into the role of military contractor, the T-65 X-wing starfighter was the next in Incom's line of fighter craft. The need for a strong fighter-to-fighter craft was imperative due to the war's emphasis on space combat, and the X-wing helped remedy the Republic's space-superiority vulnerability. As the war dragged on, Incom designed the robust Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter for engagements circa 14 BBY. It was the company's desire to make a starfighter that would propel the Republic to victory in the war and to create a symbol of power and reliability. He was born during the Mandalorian Civil War as the son of the leader of a Mandalorian clan called Clan Sevarin. Lukas was outcasted from his clan after killing his own cousin. Lukas later crippled the Death Watch splinter group known as Skulltakers after their leader killed his brother Rufus. Soon afterwards Lukas began a career as a mercenary along with his brother Cadaver. Both was captured by Vigos of Black Sun in 45 BBY. Lukas joined Black Sun, where he led a career as an assassin. When he tried to kill slave lord Poyous, Lukas met his rival Drexl Reznov. A few years later, Lukas met pilot and fellow mercenary Camila Jrenas after the latter saved him from a group of mercenaries. Lukas fought on the Separatist side in the Clone Wars, where he performed his usual role as an assassin. Lukas's most famous mission was when he was hired to kill Jedi Goroth Hekalv and his padawan Eliwir Karzarg in the battle for Uvena Prime. Working with biologist Thrax Vols, Lukas tried to intimidate senator Canis dervish so he could join the Separatist side in the Clone Wars. Lukas tried to lead a group of mercenaries to kill Hekalv and Karzarg, but failed. Lukas was sent to prison, but was part of a mass breakout. When the Galactic Empire was founded, Lukas was hired to kill Imperial commander Gaius Jagafromme. However, Lukas was captured and told to kill Darth Vader. He tried to flee to the Outer Rim with Camila, but he was intercepted and killed by the Sith Lord on the planet Otavon XII. Nemo, who was knighted in 4,006 BBY, was taken by the Jedi to be trained on Ossus by Vandar Tokare. As a Jedi Knight he then participated in the conclave on Deneba, as well as the following war. During the war his cousin Ulic fell to the dark side and killed his brother Cay, but was eventually redeemed by Nomi Sunrider. In the following years, both Duron and Ulic were killed, the former during the hunt for terentateks and the latter by a spacer seeking glory. Nemo had fallen into despair at the deaths of his family, and so his old master asked him to teach at an enclave on Dantooine to help take his mind off his grief. He taught there for several years before taking an apprentice, the Kel Dor Caer Onè, whom he taught for eleven years, emphasizing concepts such as peace and careful judgement, before he was knighted. After the slaughter of the Cathar, the council reluctantly agreed to allow the Revanchists, a group of Jedi led by Revan and Malak, to enter into the Mandalorian conflicts. Nemo, along with many of the older Jedi masters, felt that the group's action was too rash and hasty, but many Jedi, including Nemo’s old apprentice Caer, followed the group into battle. When the war was ended at the Battle of Malachor V Nemo, Vandar, and many of the other Jedi sensed a disturbance in the Force, which had been caused by the activation of the Mass Shadow Generator. Revan and his followers disappeared for a year, before they came back to the known galaxy as Sith, initiating the Jedi Civil War. With "Darths" Revan and Malak leading their assault forward, many Jedi headed for the war lines, but Nemo would have nothing to do with war and remained teaching on Dantooine. However, with the help of Padawan Bastila Shan's Battle meditation, the Jedi managed to capture Revan, and upon their returned to Dantooine Nemo, Vandar, and the other Jedi met with them. The council decided to reprogram Revan's broken mind, in hopes that he would lead the Jedi to the source of their enemy's massive fleet. Nemo began to sense that he would not live to see the end of the war. After voicing his concerns to Vandar, he tried to accept the fact and continue teaching. After offering words of wisdom to Revan—who was unaware of his identify and was being retrained by the Jedi—and congratulating him on his redemption of the fallen Cathar apprentice Juhani, Nemo was contacted by Vrook Lamar, who sent him to investigate the burial mounds near the Jedi enclave. Upon arrival, he was greeted by a droid that spoke a language Nemo didn't understand. Moving on, he opened a door and was attacked by two more droids. He managed to destroy one, but he fell to the fire. As he succumbed to his wounds, he witnessed a vision of the future in which Revan killed Malak; believing this to be an omen of victory, he quietly died. Nemo's body was recovered after Shan and Revan found it when investigating the burial mounds. His vision of Revan defeating Malak soon came to pass. Read more…
