An Instructional Environment Enclosure, otherwise known "the box", is a machine large enough for a human(or ler)to fit inside. The occupant can be wired up to virtual reality, mostly as a means of conditioning, or they can be punished with sensory deprivation as an interrogation technique. Their brainwaves can be continually monitored from outside. The enclosures are taller than a man, almost as large as a small vehicle.
