Mike Betz (born March 31, 1981) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. Prior to turning professional, Betz attended Ohio State University (OSU) where he played four seasons (2000 – 2004) of NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Betz was recognized for his outstanding college hockey play when he was named the Ohio State Buckeyes' Most Valuable Player for both the 2001–02 and 2002–03 seasons, and was also selected as the 2002–03 CCHA Goaltender of the Year.
