The Fire Gigas, also known as the R.GIANT in the Nintendo Entertainment System version, is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. Like all its palette swaps, the monster appears as a giant clothed in a green robe and cape, as opposed to the Hill Gigas, which has green skin and blue robes. It is a stronger enemy, with relatively high HP and stats. Its lack of a special attack and tendency to appear alone often make it easy to beat with standard physical attacks. Using Ice-based spells is highly recommended and can easily finish off one of these enemies.
