Simplicity Designer's 8114; ©1949; Misses' and Women's Street Dress. The main feature of this one-piece dress is the zipper beginning at the neckline in front down the entire length of the dress. The moderately flared skirt achieves its fullness by a dimanond shaped insertion at each side which in turn offers a natural place for large side pockets of Version A. This Version has simple push-up sleeves set into a regular armhole. Version B shows a short sleeve with attractive cuff. This version is further simplified by elimination of the pockets and can be worn with or without belt as a princess-type dress.
