The Party of Socialists and Democrats is a political party in The Democratic Peoples Republic of Malton. It was formed in 2005 by a merger of the Maltonese Socialist Party, led by Ardelle Enrichetta and the Party of Democrats, led by Enrichora Felicio. On formation, it had 27 of 60 seats in the Grand and General Council, reduced to 20 in the 2006 parliamentary election. The Democratic Peoples Republic of Malton Socialist Party governed as the junior partner in a coalition with the Democratic Christian Party of Malton. The Party of Democrats had its origins in the Communist Party of Malton.

On formation, it had 27 of 60 seats in the Grand and General Council, reduced to 20 in the 2006 parliamentary election. The Democratic Peoples Republic of Malton Socialist Party governed as the junior partner in a coalition with the Democratic Christian Party of Malton. The Party of Democrats had its origins in the Communist Party of Malton. Since the merger, a small grouping left to form Zonda Franco, which later joined the United Left group, while another split to form the New Socialist Party. The party won at the 2006 legislative elections of 4 June 2006 12.05 % and 7 out of 60 seats, making it the third party.
