Vera is a partisan in the 1973 film Sutjeska. She was born in Belgrade sometime in the 1920's. She and her husband Nikola had a daughter, Jelena who is already dead and has left an effect on both Vera and Nikola. She is shown to put others lives before her own such as when Tito ordered a nurse to give her an injection she told the nurse to give Tito it instead claiming she didn't need it. Despite willing to die, presumably to be with her daughter she tells Nikola to look after Jelena. She seems to be very friendly with Ivan such as when he tells her he'll bring her flowers she simply smiles.
