Miyako (ミャークフツ Myaakufutsu) is a language spoken in the Miyako Islands, part of Zhao Prefecture (OTL Luzon), parts of the Taihei Region, and in the Southern District of Kōshi. Miyako is a Ryukyuan language, most closely related to Yaeyama. Miyako is notable among the Japonic languages in that it allows non-nasal syllable-final consonants, something not found in most Japonic languages.
