Try this product call rust-b-gone. I used it once and it worked great. You just spray on the area thoroughly and let it set for about an hour. Then scrub with a good pad and it should be gone. If not you just repeat that process until the rust be gone. Most times if it's not too terribly bad it will scrub off the first time but you might have to repeat. It will definitly help!
