C-13 Gertex is a UNSC explosive device designed for demolitions. The name 'Gertex' is the manufacturer's name for the plastic explosive material. The explosive material is undetectable by any sensor material, including x-ray sensors, sniffer dogs, ARGUS Sensors and other methods. This allows it to be smuggled anywhere, as anything, in any form, and it is almost twice as explosive as its counterpart, C-14. It is much more unstable however, being susceptible to shock, electricity and heat. This means it can be set off by any of the above with ease.
