The Leprechaun Cottage is a constructable limited edition building in FarmVille. It was released on February 24, 2011 as part of the St. Patrick's Day Event (2011). Note: although the building itself is called Leprechaun Cottage, it is misnamed Leprechaun's Cottage in several places, including the 'Place Now!' pop-up window that appeared when first entering the farm after the item was issued. Once a foundation had been acquired, farmers could ask for help from their neighbors (by gifts of building materials) to complete the cottage.

  • The Leprechaun Cottage is a constructable limited edition building in FarmVille. It was released on February 24, 2011 as part of the St. Patrick's Day Event (2011). Note: although the building itself is called Leprechaun Cottage, it is misnamed Leprechaun's Cottage in several places, including the 'Place Now!' pop-up window that appeared when first entering the farm after the item was issued. The foundation with one brick was given as a gift to farmers. Once a player accessed the farm, a pop-up appeared reading 'Build your lucky Leprechaun's Cottage with parts from your friends. The bigger the cottage, the more gold you can harvest!'. The player was immediately entered into Placement Mode; the Leprechaun Cottage could be placed on the farm right away, or placed in the Gift Box. Once a foundation had been acquired, farmers could ask for help from their neighbors (by gifts of building materials) to complete the cottage. As with the Winter Workshop and the Cupid's Castle, the cottage can be harvested for tokens which can be accumulated in another building and redeemed for rewards. For the Leprechaun Cottage, the tokens are Gold and can be used in the Pot of Gold. The completed building became harvestable for gold in the afternoon of 28 February 2011.
