The Valiant Justice started its life as a Galactic Alliance ship constructed after the Yuuzhan Vong War. It was deployed in the GA's Corellian Blockade to prevent the Corellians from getting in or out. During the Breaking of the Corellian Blockade, the ship was captured as part of Bastilla's commando force. Since then, it has fought in several heavy battles against the Vagaari in the Vagaari War. It was the lead assault ship in the Laonex Ambush that ended that war.

It was deployed in the GA's Corellian Blockade to prevent the Corellians from getting in or out. During the Breaking of the Corellian Blockade, the ship was captured as part of Bastilla's commando force. After extensive reworking including a complete overhaul of the computer system and repairs from the internal fighting, the ship was completed just after the Battle of Borleias. When that battle ended with the merging of the Second Nymean Fleet and the Sixth Fleet, Commander Setran was placed in charge of the survivors of the Sixth Fleet and the Valiant Justice was given to him as flagship and to help replace the losses incurred in that battle. Since then, it has fought in several heavy battles against the Vagaari in the Vagaari War. It was the lead assault ship in the Laonex Ambush that ended that war.
