It started off well enough at Oxford, starting 16th and finishing 27th. That was the first race in his career that he was running at the finish. Then he was able to improve on that in his first trip to Loudon, finishing a career-best 21st place. Gada's final career race came in 1992, when he competed at Loudon once again. This time, Gada struggled mightily. Ignition issues just thirty-four laps into the race left him a poor 42nd after starting last (44th).
