| - Natalia Viktorovna Dumitru (née Romanova) (b. 18 December 1974) was a Ukrainian witch of Russian ancestry; daughter of Viktor and Tatiana Romanova (née Petrenka), younger sister of Alexi and twin sister of Natasha Romanova. She is a descendant of the Romanov family, the granddaughter of Princess Anastasia, the sole survivor of the Romanov family massacre. She attended the Carpathian School of Magic between 1984 and 1994, becoming quite popular in school and later controversially becoming friends with the school's pariah, Mateo Maximoff. During school, Natalia and her twin sister, Natasha, became some of the most popular girls in the school. They were both part of the unofficial clique of pure-blood Carpathian students led by their cousin Dragomir Dumitru, who was at the top of the popularity "hierarchy." Although Natalia hated Drago and didn't want to associate herself with him, the two stayed close to Dumitru because it made their life easier. Eventually, Natasha became more and more involved with them and became just like Drago, disgusting Natalia, who tried in vain to change her sister back. Although Natalia did not despise Mateo Maximoff for any reason, she acted coldly towards him for most of their time in school in order to protect her reputation with Drago's group. After Sandra Niță began a relationship with Mateo following the Ball commemorating the 700th anniversary of the school, Natalia was one of the group that criticized her, although she did so because Drago was becoming suspicious of her. Following Nicolas Mihalios' death and Mateo's near-murder of Drago, Natalia threw away her popularity and was one of the few people to actively console him after his loss, becoming a true friend to Mateo. She was also one of the people who criticized Mateo's ex-girlfriend Sandra when she made no attempt to even speak to him, something that infuriated Natalia to no end. After graduating from Carpathia, Natalia struck a romantic relationship with Drago, who had changed immensely after his near-death experience in their ninth year. The two married and had two children: Adrian Liviu in 1998 and Carmen Magda in 2006. Natalia later reconnected with Mateo, becoming a close friend of his wife Gabrielle and became the namesake and godmother of their second child, Natalia Lidia Maximoff. Although the two continue to be friends, Natalia's marriage to Mateo's arch nemesis made relations difficult between them from time to time.
