Sun Chakra is a type of chakra usable only by those who possess the "Plant Release" Kekkei Genkai. It is used through a technique of the mentioned Release, called "Plant Release: Kōgōsei", which absorbs sunlight from the Sun itself and transforms it into chakra. Sun Chakra must be controlled, it cannot be used as a alternate source to replace your chakra if you run low or are almost out, if you do not possess enough stamina (Chakra) of your own, it will break free of their control and leak out meaninglessly. Sun Chakra can be transfered. If the user of Plant Release transfers the Chakra into another person, they can use it just as effectively as the original holder, provided they have training on controlling it. So far, the only known user being able to gather Sun Chakra naturally is "Michima Senju".
