"1,000,000" is a song by R.E.M. written by Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe. It is listed as the opening track to the band's 1982 debut EP Chronic Town on the sleeve, although it is actually the fourth track due to to an error mixing up side one and side two. It was also released as a B-side to the "Talk About The Passion" single in 1983 (from the band's debut LP Murmur). The song was featured in the 1982 sci-fi film Strange Invaders, being heard playing on a radio as a dog laps up a can of beer.
