Harry Nicholls VC (21 April 1915 - 11 September 1975) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was born on 21 April 1915 and was 25 years old, and a lance-corporal in the 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards, British Army during the Second World War when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC. Nicholls was presented with his VC ribbon by a German commandant when he was a prisoner of war in Poland.
