  • As Pertwee's understudy in The Ultimate Adventure, he also filled in for him and ruined the Third Doctor forever (albeit only for the people in attendance those two nights before Uncle Terry wisely decided to add more pies to the script so they could hire Colin Baker so that never happened again). The character of David Young in the EDA novels may be a loving tribute to David Banks being brutally murdered by aliens.
