The former champion was Goldberg. For Smackdown is the WWE Championship, which is currently held by Randy Orton, who is in his ninth reign after winning the title on April 2, 2017 at the WrestleMania 33 pay-per-view. The former champion was Bray Wyatt. The two secondary titles in WWE are the WWE United States Championship and WWE Cruiserweight Championship for Raw and the WWE Intercontinental Championship for Smackdown. The current United States Champion is Kevin Owens, who is in his first reign after defeating Chris Jericho at April 2, 2017 on WrestleMania 33. The Cruiserweight Champion is Neville, who is in his first reign after defeating Rich Swann at Royal Rumble on January 29, 2017.
