Q9-X5 had an addition of two miniature "solar ionization cannons" on top of his chassis, he had masculine programming and had a fiery temper. Yet, the droid possessed a highly logical and calculating mind due to his fusion of programming, and a distaste for less-intelligent droids. He also equipped himself with a vocoder with which he could taunt the enemy. Q9-X5 can also fit in a starfighter socket, and can function as a turret along with usual astrodroid maintenance. Q9 was built with a highly frank and odd personality matrix, giving him a strong personality unlike most other astrodroids. It also caused him to perform numerous modifications in an effort to make himself even more advanced. Q9-X5 fitted himself with high-power repulsor pads so he could hover over 10 meters over ground or w

  • Q9-X5 had an addition of two miniature "solar ionization cannons" on top of his chassis, he had masculine programming and had a fiery temper. Q9-X5 fitted himself with high-power repulsor pads so he could hover over 10 meters over ground or water. But these modifications were very high-powered so he installed a Force-converter crystal to sustain him indefinitely on the power of the Force. Q9-X5 still felt that they were not enough, next he added a sophisticated multi-purpose package, that included a molecular backtrack sniffer, a residual heat-trend directionalizer, retractable sensor wands, cloaking device, a miniaturized Crystal Gravfield Trap, a Mindwarper module, a Medisensor, droid medial suite, full-spectrum distortion projector and a telepathy generator to communicate silently with his master and other organics. He also added a powerful forward-mounted floodlight and two additional lamps that folded into either side of his cylindrical chassis which when at a high enough setting were able to burn out photo-receptors on droids and blind organics. Q9-X5 then fitted himself with a high-tech photography system into his front section, reasoning that his holographic projector was not able enough to capture images clearly.
