The Wind Shrine is a location from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Located near the back of Dragon Roost Island, the shrine has two stone tablets that honor the Wind Gods, Cyclos and Zephos. Cyclos's stone is broken, but the stone honoring Zephos is intact. If Link gets out the Wind Waker in front of the stone dedicated to Zephos, he can learn the "Wind's Requiem", a song that allows Link to control the winds. Cyclos's broken stone is assumed to have had the "Ballad of Gales" inscribed on it. It is because of Cyclos's stone being broken that he unleashes cyclones on traveling seamen, such as Link.
