The Jackson Incident was a people bomb attack by a black rebel at a gathering in Jackson, Mississippi in the autumn of 1942. The rebel worked as a waiter at a club, and had access to a ladies' gathering. He strapped a bomb to himself and detonated it, killing himself and eleven others, and injuring several more.
