The Breckenridge Bucks were a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Breckenridge, Colorado. The team commences play with the 2015-16 season. They played in the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League for the 2015-16 season They were based out of the Stepen C West Ice Arena. The team operated as a partner of the Summit Lightning Youth Hockey Association and the Summit High School Tigers. The team joined the Western States Hockey League for the 2016-17 season. The team was originally scheduled to stay in Breckenridge, however; the RMJHL had awarded an expansion team to the city that became the Breckenridge Bears. The team would relocate to Vail, Colorado and be renamed the Vail Powder Hounds.
