Simplicity 3818; ©1941; MISSES’ AND WOMEN’S DRESS. Style I – To broaden the shoulders and narrow the hip, a triangular plastron, made with an inverted pleat, finishes the bodice. The nicely gored skirt is slashed from the lower edge and joined to an underlay to form an inverted pleat at the center front. Style II is made with a plain plastron buttoned in front. The dress may be made with short or three-quarter length sleeves. Featured in Prevue Simplicity Fashions June, 1941
