Born in Byzantium and now at 21, Ivlianvs was a proud product of Vaspasian’s and Antonivs’ schools. Ivlianvs did not find controlling the Empire easy, but managed to dispense his stress in a number of humorus books, including ‘Misopogon’ (Beard Hater), ‘Hymn to Lvcinivs’, ‘Ode to Mine Half-brother Who was so Kind as to Pile This Empire of Very Strong and Heavy Rock upon Me’, ‘The Masses’, and ‘Against Barbarians’. They were popular. Ivlianvs also restored Belgica (60 years under military governors) and Ægyptus (55 years) to Senatorial status in 1109(356) and gave Dalmatia a senatorial seat in 1113(360). Also that year, the stirrup for the horse was invented by an ADA in Asia province, making horses easier to get on, off, and direct. The next 46 years were stable for the empire. In 1126(373) an ADA in Greece developed Greek Fire. It was very vulnerable but more research went into making it safer to use and easier to transport.
