| - In the early days of Edron's existence, Kaine was Daniel Steelsoul's second in command. His main objective was to make Edron from a little settlement into a flourishing metropolis. He was supplied forced labourers by Edron's ruler King Tibianus, but not long afterwards he mysteriously disappeared, and so did the slaves. Later, it was found out he had freed all of them and had started a sinister cult in the cave now known as the Hero Cave, together with priestess Agaltha and their followers. Nowadays, it is rumoured that he still lurks somewhere down there, in that very same cave...
- Kaine (カイネ, Kaine) is a member of the Hidden Pirates and is one of the two acting Captains.

After faking his own death he could finaly rest easily at night. He was eventually hired by a feudal lord in the land of fire and became one of the four Samurai.
- Shinogu and his twin brother Kaine, who is the lead singer in one of the hottest bands in Japan, get into a car crash one night. When Shinogu awakes, he finds out his brother is dead, and everyone believes that he is Kaine. Now forced with his brother's identity, he finds out just what kind of life his brother led.

- Ardus Kaine was born to the aristocratic family Kaine on Anaxes. Born to Roko and Sadrina Kaine as the youngest of 10 children he is no stranger to competition, having had to fight for recognition in a family unit as large as his where his parents were both members of large families leaving him with 9 siblings and upwards of 30 cousins. The Kaine estate on Anaxes, just outside the city of Pols Anaxes, was not small by any means allowing young Ardus ample room to roam and explore growing up.
