The Dragon Trail is an extension of the Goluud Corridor and a hyperspace route. The route, originally known as the Daragon Trail, was named after Gav and Jori Daragon who first discovered the hyperlane in 5,000 BBY. The route ran from Koros Major, which was later renamed Empress Teta, in the Deep Core to Korriban in the Stygian Caldera of the Outer Rim Territories. The remarkable part of this discovery was that the Daragons made it the entire way from Empress Teta to Korriban in a single, uncharted jump. It is the longest blind jump to have ever been made successfully.

A part of it later became the Carbonite Run. In later years, a popular legend said that the ghost ship of Admiral Fa'rey haunted the Trail. It's not known for sure why it became known as the Dragon Trail, but most speculate that it was related to the fact that the Daragons unwittingly unleashed the menace of the Sith Empire on the galaxy and started the Great Hyperspace War thanks to their trail.
