In 2000 Prime Minister Mallon announces the formation of a football league in Cleveland, to be know as the CFA (Cleveland Football Association). There will be two divisions with five teams in each. This will have five teams from the former NRCO territories. Champion of the 3rd division will be promoted to the 2nd division, lowest points scorer from the 2nd division wil be relegated to the 3rd division. Teams will be as follows: Third Division * Tadcaster United FC * Kirby Stephen FC * Appleby FC * Hawes FC * Weatherby FC 2010 FIFA World Cup 2009 the CFA announces that there will be a national team formed for the FIFA World cup to be played in the Celtic Alliance in 2010. Players can be selected from any team in all three leagues. The Cleveland manager has been named as Sir Brian Clough current manager of Middlesbrough FC. The draw took place in Dublin on December 4th. The Kingdom of Cleveland are drawn in group C along with: * Brazil, * USSR (aka Siberia), * New Britain. The Kingdom of Cleveland got to the Quarter finals losing to ANZC 3 - 1 The 2010 FIFA World Cup was won by the ANZC
