The group consisted of the most popular rappers in the New Orleans based record label, Cash Money Records, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, B.G., Turk. From 1997 to 2001, the Hot Boys were collectively the most artists on Cash Money Records. From 1997 to 2001, the Hot Boys were collectively the most artists on Cash Money Records. In 2001 Juvenile, B.G. & Turk left Cash Money, with Lil' Wayne currently the only Hot Boys member of the group remaining on the label. It was recently announced by former Hot Boys Lil Wayne & B.G. that the group will be reuniting in 2008 to release another album. Also, on a televised interview promoting Tha Carter III, Lil Wayne said that this was going to happen, and "not just a rumor," but that some things needed to be taken care of before the album is a possibility. The Hot Boys have made a new song called "Ya Heard Me" It has Lil Wayne, B.G., And Juvenile.
