The elemental clans, more simply referred to as clans, are groups of people that emcompass several races united by their alignment to one of the eight elements that make the world of Lore. Each clan has a unique leader that was molded by Paxus many years ago. Created more than a millennia ago by Paxus, the clans distinctively comprise most of Paxia's culture and society. Only a Paxian minority, known as "Outroaders", want nothing to do with the clans. They are usually merchants who make their living off of the far more numerous clan-bound population.
