A town has a problem when wolves starts eating people's cows and sheep. The town's people offer ten dollars to anybody who kills one wolf, anyone who kills two will get twenty dollars. A butcher named Bill accepts the deal and goes out to kill wolves. He kills a great many and contuinues doing it. He kills about five hundred a year, he gets very rich from the reward money he receives and decides to stop killing wolves, since there are almost none left in the town. Then a rumor spreads around that a white wolf is killing everybody's animals and is unstoppable. Bill goes out to kill it but he does not return. Some people find him with his throat torn open and the white wolf is never seen again.
