Appointed in 2666 as the candidate for Defense for the FAP, Colt was previously an Imperial Diet member representing the Region of Hulstria, and served in the Hulstrian Armed Forces. Colt was the first of many new party cabinet appointments by Spenzer Roderick Jr after the Roderick Brothers Coup and was the third Fascist Authority Party member to take up the national Ministry of Defense. Under his tenure at the Ministry, Hulstria saw the ratification of the "Dovani Territorial Defence Organization", a treaty/organization consisting of all Dovani nations together in the interest of defense of both their nations and colonies. Silvestor Colt was considered a candidate to represent Greater Hulstria in the DTDO and served as such for a brief period of time.
