After smelting the first 100 corrupted ores, players will receive an experience lamp worth 50,000 Smithing experience by talking to Lady Trahaearn. She is located just south of the Seren Stones in the Trahaearn Clan district. Urns do not work with this ore, as the strong smelting urn only works for ores levels 85 and below. Similarly, perfect juju mining potions and juju mining potions do not work either. Additionally, the chance of smithing two ores at once, from the Varrock Armour, does not work, unless the player has completed the New Varrock elite tasks.

Mining Urns do work with corrupted ores following the August 2017 Update which also allows urns to stack. Smelting urns do not work. Perfect juju mining potions and Juju mining potions do not smelt corrupted ores or send ores to your bank, they do however provide the 10% XP boost while the stone spirit is summoned, which may make it worth the extra cost. Further, unless the player has completed the elite New Varrock Tasks, the Varrock armour's chance of smelting two ores at once does not work when smelting in Prifddinas. If the armour does smelt two ores at once while the Voice of Seren effect is in the Trahaearn district, the 20% boost to Smithing experience is not applied to the second corrupted ore. Casting Superheat Item on corrupted ores or using Superheat Form during the Voice of Seren will not provide the 20% experience bonus or swamp tar. Smelting corrupted ore with the augmented crystal hammer or hammer-tron equipped gives 11.7 item experience.
