| - Brief descriptive text.
- Dispel Magic attempts to strip all the magical effects on the target. If used on an area then it attempts to remove the most powerful spell of each creature. The dispel check is 1d20 + 1 per caster level (to a maximum of +10) versus 11 + spell effect's caster level.
- This spell removes all spell effects in a 1 tile radius including the casters tile. It removes both helpful and harmful spells from all units in the radius. If cast on a changed mana node will clear it back to raw mana.
- This spell is very similar to the "Cure" spell, but more versatile. Unlike Cure, the spell not only heals poison or bodily malfunctions like Paralysis, but also can awaken people and, most importantly, can also dispel evil magics, such as Charm, that were placed on that person. Of course the spell only works on a single person. For the whole party, Mass Dispel is needed.
