  • Manón was a female Silgov and the owner of Manón's, a cabaret lounge in Stars Landing on Federation Starfleet starbase Vanguard in the 23rd century. She was pale with emerald-green, almost feline almond-shaped eyes, an almost imperceptible nose, long curved fingernails and multi-coloured hair. (VAN novel: Harbinger) Despite exploration not being a cultural imperative for the Silgov, Manón longed to travel. However, it wasn't until the eve of the Vekhal's invasion force on her homeworld of Silgos Prime, that she left her planet, forsaking her noble title. She traveled nearly 3000 light-years, encountering many civilizations but never coming across another of her species, before arriving in the United Federation of Planets. She found safe haven on Bolarus IX but eventually left and set up her business on Vanguard. (VAN novel: Storming Heaven) In 2265, Manón introduced Spock to T'Prynn after one of T'Prynn's piano performances in her cabaret bar. (VAN novel: Harbinger) In 2268, just prior to the Tholian attack on Vanguard, Manón left the station aboard her ship, the Niwlolau Leuad. She was sad to leave her home and friends, and lamented that she would never again hear T'Prynn play her baby grand piano, or listen to Quartermaster Sozlok's stories of his misspent youth. (VAN novel: Storming Heaven)
