| - Type: Solar Circle Sorcerery Keywords: None Cost: 40 Target: One Area SWLIHN is cruel, but she is fair. She has her Law, but unlike Cecelyne's, the innocent truly have nothing to fear. This spell brings one aspect of SWLIHN's law to Creation, removing all penalties against free speech, so long as the person speaks thoughtfully and truthfully. SWLIHN does not fear honest discourse, for she knows her rule is the most reasonable one and she will inevitably be vindicated. Before casting this spell, the Infernal must first define the area it is to effect. He does this by planting five banners in a pentagon shape that can be up to a half mile across. The banners must be made of obsidian and clearly display SWLIHN's symbol, and are each a Resources 3 purchase. The sorcerer must be standing at one of these banners when he casts the spell. The spell lasts until any of the banners are broken or removed. As long as the spell is in effect -- anyone trying to suppress free speech inside the area suffers one box of aggravated damage per offense. By that same count however, anyone lying (or uttering half truths, as per Judge's Ear Technique) also suffers one box of aggravated damage per offense. Anyone so burned understands exactly why they have been harmed, but not by what. If this damage moves someone to their incapacitated box, they are instantly killed as their body is consumed in white fire, leaving nothing behind. If someone is coerced to lie, or controlled through UMI, the spell does not burn them -- but instead burns whoever compels them.
