Kanjirama Uchiha was the son of two unknown members of the Uchiha Clan. At a young age while attempting to master his presumed affinity of Fire Release, he accidentally used his true affinity of water release. Using this mistake to his advantage he went on to master high level water style techniques at a young age. He then went on to master Fire Style, Earth Style, and Lightning Style. At a young age while attempting to master his presumed affinity of Fire Release, he accidentally used his true affinity of water release. Using this mistake to his advantage he went on to master high level water style techniques at a young age. He then went on to master Fire Style, Earth Style, and Lightning Style. Due to his late development of mastery for fire style techniques, he was often ridiculed by other clan members as weak or an outcast. He made up for this by completely mastering the Sharingan at the age of 8 and awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan at the age of 11. When Kanjirama was 13 he witnessed a shinobi fighting using Storm Release. He later copied this by combining two of his nature changes (Water and Lightning) consecutively to perform Storm Release. Later after this he met an old sage who witnessed his skill with lightning release and storm release and gave Kanjirama a Black Lightning Tattoo which gave him the ability to use Black Lightning. After mastering Black Lightning, Kanjirama focused on growing and embracing the abilities of his Mangekyō Sharingan. Through this training, he discovered he had the ability to copy virtually any Kekkei Genkai and use it. Using this ability he was able to copy the Kaguya Clan's Shikotsumyaku and utilize it to an extent. Later when he was 15 he moved to the village Konohagakure and met his lifelong friend and rival from the Senju Clan, Itomaru Senju. When he moved there they were both informed by the second Hokage, Tobirama Senju that the two would now be partners in completing missions. Both him and Itomaru were heavily angered by this news and Itomaru walked away and went home. Tobirama then sighed and told Kanjirama to go and try to reconcile with him the next day. The next morning, Kanjirama went to Itomaru's apartment and apologized for the previous day and the two went out to properly introduce themselves. Slowly the two became friends and completed many missions together and were even eventually promoted to Jōnin. Eventually the two received a new member to their team, Sēntoō Hyūga.
