Chief of Amegakure's Medical Corps, Nakano earned her title through her astounding skill with the medical arts, creating several techniques and subdivisions for the Medical Corps to aid them in the process of healing the nation's wounded or mentally unstable. Particularly, the ability to venture into the minds of the deceased and retrieve vital information. Or, to prevent outside nations from probing Ame shinobi. While at first, the process was nothing but a prototype, Nakano took hasty steps in order to accelerate her project. The questioning behind this was all but ignored, and her funding and supporters cautiously pursued Nakano's project. With time seemingly of the essence, Nakano became the first test subject of her project, to make a full proof defense against any mental offensive. The project was a horrendous failure, and Nakano's mind was altered beyond repair. Psychologically unsound, Nakano's brilliance did not shine through to save her. While faced with the project's failure, and in her unsettled condition, Nakano's wrath broke through to the surface, and erupted onto the Medical Corps. Destroying all her old work, and slaying those involved. In the fit of madness, Nakano's rampage lead to her immediate disbarment from Amegakure, and to her being a wanted criminal. Though hunted and disturbed, Nakano's mind still ticks away. Her whispers speak claims to know secrets and paradoxes that would push through the fundamentals of Ninjutsu and Medical science, and into a world beyond that of comprehension. While in this state, Nakano joined the Sorane, posing as a mad nuke-nin. A wild loose cannon that's knowledge and now, obtained power, would be of benefit.

More annoyed than scared, Nakano fled to his headquarters with renewed interest in the project; if nine warriors from the future were here to put a stop to the plans, did this mean he was successful eventually? Nakano captured Shadow Yamoto, Jonathan Blade and Slash and used a Brain Scanner to determine the extent of their mission. Frustrated by their lack of knowledge or ability to block the interrogation, Nakano ordered a scientist to increase the power, not caring whether or not it killed them. Unfortunately for him, Slash managed to break out of the computer, so Nakano fled further into his base. He was next seen at the helm of a Bio-Keyed mecha, revealing to the heroes that his vision had become complete. Nakano could launch missiles with a single thought on activate defences with a glance, proving the Champions highly ineffective. However, his boasts of war angered Trident, leading to a one-on-one conflict. Nakano attempted to flee into the ocean, but the former resident of Atlantis followed him and destroyed the mecha, seemingly killing the villain. Once the heroes had returned to Fortress Eternity, a badly wounded Nakano emerged from the oecan. Some time later, Nakano returned to his work, now with one eye and in a wheelchair. He had found a Bio-Keyed cyber gun in the ocean (brought and used by Trident), allowing him to renew his work on his research. Despite the efforts of the Eternal Champions, Nakano's name would almost certainly still go down in infamy.
