| - The Greater APAC Co-prosperity Sphere, also known as GACS, Pan-Asian Treaty Organization, or the Sphere, is the supranational political-economic alliance & the dominant power in APAC space. Covering a space sovereign of over classified parsecs, with over classified googolplex sentients, it includes the majority of great powers across APAC, with colonial interests scattering entire known cosmos & beyond. The alliance traced their roots to a mutual treaty between the Yamatoran, the NKR & many outer worlds of the Confederates during their war against the Borg. The GACS, along with PEE and GCSS, would be the single pan-multiverse largest economy, had it been one sovereign nation, based on GDP alone.

The Sphere operates through a well-constructed systems of supranational institutions and inter-civilizations negotiated laws and decisions. Due to their directorial democratic tendency, such decisions usually take years of debates & discussions. Such institutions including the Chancellor of the Sphere, the /Grand Assembly/, the Sphere's Protectors, the Sphere's Constitution and the Supreme Court of the Sphere. Although not completely abolished, over millennia, border patrols between participants in their SASs had reduced significantly, ranging from relative low, to no patrol at all. The GACS features a common market, with overeaching trade agreements. Unlike their EUROPA counterpart, however, the GACS as a whole is rather communist, or at least featuring a system nearly like what Karl Marx visualized aeons ago, due to them largely post-scarcity societies. While first born out as common defensive agreements, in face of the Borg Collective & their converted allies, slowly but surely, political associations were developed throughout 3rd - 4th eras, with more star polities and civilizations jumped in the wagon, during many first space races. Eventually, the GACS had evolved over time, becoming more & more like a confederate government. Initially including only the power to protect basic sentient's rights, enact legistrations concerning internal affairs & justice, as well as common policies in trade, space expeditions and colonization efforts, over time, the Sphere's scopes had expanded to cover virtually every single area. The Sphere, however, isn't without oppositions; with various other civilizations and empires objecting to what they perceived as the dominances by East - Southeast Asian rooted great powers, forming their own allies, such as the Gulf Council or the Sanctuary. During the Colonization Era (see: Roaring Ages), the Sphere was responsible for creating various worlds and space settlements, many of whom much later rose into preminent power level. The Greater APAC Co-prosperity Sphere, despite all its functionalities evolve over times, isn't one single sovereign nation, but rather, a combination of vast numbers of species and civilizations, linked together by their common interests, similar cultural and traditional spheres and believes, as well as mutual defense. There are various ways one could attach themselves to the GACS: First Members were the first empires and star nations that jumped on the wagon in early years, and still being ones, enjoying significant influences and wealthy lives across the Sphere's space.
